    • holes dont line up
be prepared to drill a hole. . the made side holes dont line up. after putting in the top screw, the bottom hole was 1/2 inch off. also the map sensor and EGR vacume line are too close together.. should be about 15 degrees further away from each other.. also the main filter back wont fit inside the hole. no matter how hard you try, it wont fit. you cant trim the edge off the filter back, because that's what keeps the rubber on it with a clamp.. so your forced to break out the files or dremmel and open up the metal hole. after an hour or so, i was able to fit the filter main piece into the hole and it all lined up perfectly. if you try and shove the rubber through the hole and allow the housing to stay on the filter side, it wont line up with the intake manafold. so yea.. its not because i wasn't assemling it right.. its because the chineese workers didn't compensate for the lip on the filter backing. other than that, this thing works pretty good.. engine breaths a little better.. havent noticed much power boost, but didn't expect it to do so with stock exhaust.. but it will help when i swap out the stock exhaust for something better.. ... show more

Holes in the heat shield did not line up, had to drill an extra hole. Bottom of heat shield should a stud that goes into the frame And most importantly, there were no instructions, not all of us a seasoned mechanics.,

    • Don’t order this part for your Camaro.
I’ll never buy an off brand part for my car again. The parts didn’t fit properly, the hose clamps barely fit around the ports, and the long tube wasn’t long enough. I had to drill new holes into the shield because the holes didn’t match up. Very poorly made!

Installed the intake on 2013 Camaro just to figure out the MAF sensor mounting bracket was welded on upside down, so the sensor was facing the wrong direction.

    • May need different clamp in one spot
Eventually figured out how to put it together. Instructions not very clear. Other than that, functional. May have to use different clamp where rubber neck connects filter to pipe. Clamp does not tighten down enough and will cause filter to detach from pipe

DO NOT BUY FOR A 2014 CHEVY CAMARO V6 ENGINE!!! Heat plate screws do not match up. Have to redrill the holes. The main black tube is about 2" too short. The location for the sensor is located in the wrong place in reference to where it normally goes. I had a mechanic installing it and tried different things to get it to fit with NO success. Very disappointed!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!! ... show more

I only gave it 4 stars because the box didn't turn out the way I would have liked and it was difficult to install but in the end it worked. I like it and I can feel the difference in acceleration. They need to improve on the built the box shield because doesn’t fit I had to make some modifications thank you thumps up 👍 ... show more
