The light panels are easy to install and handle, weighing very little. Have installed eight 1x4 light panels to date with more planned. Good looking lights and love the 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K options. The last light panel I installed did not operate. The problem turned out to be my fault due to a loose neutral connection at a junction box. I was not thorough enough and assumed a defective product too soon. While I thought the light was defective, I called Amazon customer service first. Because I had already destroyed the packaging, Amazon customer service walked me through the process of getting in contact with the manufacturer’s customer service. After a few days of back and forth communication the manufacturer sent me two new power supplies ( which did not work because I had not yet discovered to loose neutral) then two new lights. When the new light panel did not work I knew I needed to look closer at my work. ALL THIS TO SAY— Amazon and Mcacggo customer service were a pleasure to work with. They responded quickly (always the same day) and followed up to make sure progress was being made. They made me feel special.

I purchased this light fixture to replace an aging fluorescent kitchen ceiling light. It took a long time to arrive but was worth the wait. It was pretty easy for one person to install thanks to the supplied hanging cables. It's also much brighter than the original fluorescent fixture and lights up my kitchen work space quite nicely. I have it set to 3000K. The supplier needs to consider upgrading the packaging because one of the fixtures was slightly damaged upon arrival. I was able to disassemble the unit and straighten the rather thin sheet metal. I also plan to add some wood moldings around it to enhance it's appearance because it's very plain looking fixture. Overall I'm very pleased with this light.

This light is beautiful! The metal edges are good quality, solid, clean lines. The mounting bracket was a bit of a bear but it’s understandable that it needs more support out from the junction box. I put 9 drywall screws into the ceiling. I wanted drywall anchors but couldn’t seem to get them in without collapsing, then when I did get one in with a pilot hole drilled, the screws that came with it weren’t wide enough to really expand the anchor. I managed to hit into a joist with two of the screws so I feel it is quite secure. In the end though it is tight to the ceiling and looks amazing!! We removed the skylight when we had the roof replaced because of constant leak problems, I no longer wanted to deal with skylights. This was the ideal solution. It is bright and beautiful, it floods the area with light. I love it!!!

I bought 6 of these lights. Poor manufacturing and quality. 1) Install support wires were mis-installed on the wrong side of the light making the final attachment to the support impossible. Wires had to be disconnected and then the light slide onto its support. 2) Exterior Lock/Unlock decals reversed! Sliding towards the unlock direction locks it and vice versa. 3) Flimsy support bracket. It's very thin metal and the weight of the light would sag the support so there was a 1/4" gap between the ceiling and light. 4) No way it was 4000 lumens; I turned it on and it was only about 2000 lumens as compared to other 2000 lumen lights I have. I checked the supply voltage to make sure it was correct and it was indeed 120v. Either misleading advertising or defective. Returned all 6 lights.

OK, so they're really bright (on 5000K) and switchable in the fixture and yes you can use a dimmer switch if you want. That's the good news. Easy to install, also good news and the fixture itself is appealing to the eye. The bad news (other than having to replace the entire unite when LED;s begin to go out) is the fact that the perimeter of the ceiling (where the walls meet the ceiling) get very dark. Especially at night. It looks a bit eerie. I had flush mount fluorescents that had edges that permitted light to shine along the ceiling as well as down,. So there wasn't any darkness around the room, which to me was important. At $90.00 each, I would expect more from this light fixture. I would love it if it had some kind of slot that would allow light to shine from the sides as well. I didn't think it would make such a big difference in how the room looks, due to the fixture only being only 1 - 1/2 inches high, but it does. I find it dark around the ceiling, which makes it darker the further away from the center you are. So even my counters are darker. I will be changing these out when I find a suitable replacement. (Remember, the "Yellow" wire is the ground. Black to Black & White to White when wiring it) the wall anchors are kinds crappy too !

I purchased two of these for kitchen. They were great for a while. Just after two years in, both started flickering and turning off. Given the 5 year warranty, I began trying to contact the company. No luck through Amazon, nor with any of the contact information I was given for Amazon. I took the lights down, opened the driver's circuit board, and replaced the two capacitors on each light. They are now working like before - hope to get another couple of years out of them. I would give them more stars, but for the fact that advertising a 5 year warranty and then making it virtually impossible to contact the Company is not cool.
