I ordered this pair for my teenage son (size 7) and he loved it right the way. I noticed how lightweight this pair was, and because men's 7 is very close to size 8.5 in women's size I tried it on. Wow! Very comfortable, lightweight with the support in right places. Why women's shoes from Columbia are not as nearly as comfortable?! This pair is not for cold weather (not for snow for sure). The shoe length is perfect, but they are a little narrow. It's to be expected, since I have flat (and therefore wide) feet. I probably should have gotten something wider (more than just 'wide'), but I can already tell these will break in just fine. They are comfortable. They seem like a well-made product. I haven't tested their water resistance yet. The soles aren't sewn on, but that's not unexpected at this price. The soles seem like the right pliability: not so soft that they would wear down quickly, and not so hard that they would chip on hard rocks or cause me to slip. ... show more

I have had these for 4 months now and they are a great boot. I work outside and wear em every day and so far they have held up perfectly. The comfort is a 9.9 out of 10 for me and they are light but supportive. All in all a great buy.

Live in New England, so I do know a thing or two about boots. Needed to buy hiking boots for an Iceland vacation. These are great. Fit me correctly and super comfortable for a full day of touring. Used for hikes on our trip and will use at home. Fit/size is same as Nike sizes.

These have so far been a great pair of boots!! I’ve had them for about 3 months now. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. I do lawn care along with many other outdoor things for 10-13 hours a day and they have held up very well and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. I had one pair of Columbia shoes and almost didn’t buy these because of the experience I had with those. The seams in the breathing holes next to my toes started ripping open on them after one use at work, but they stayed water proofed regardless of that so I kept using them until I eventually bought these and they have held up. The only issues I have is the tread has worn off a little quicker than I would have liked and they have gotten a little heavier since I’ve worn them, but you’ll have that with water proof boots and sweat.
