I used it to rotate the tires on a subaru impreza, so a total of 5 times jacking up one wheel at a time. On the fifth time, as I was raising the car, the jack made a loud cracking noise and the car dropped about an inch but not the whole way to the ground. I carefully began lowering it and the front bearing of the jack began to fall apart. The photo shows some of the parts that came out of the jack. It is supposed to be rated to 4,000 pounds - well an entire Impreza only weighs 3,000 and I was just jacking up one wheel at a time. After my experience I wouldn't trust this to raise one wheel of a bicycle. ... show more
