    • Difficult to Install
ecently purchased this product, and while I do like it overall, there are a few aspects that left me a bit frustrated. First and foremost, the lack of specific installation instructions was a major drawback. It took me a whopping 2 hours to get this thing set up, and the process was far from smooth. Aligning the screws to fit my 2020 Tacoma was a real headache, and I even had to do some grinding to make the screws go through the plastic. That part was a real pain in the rear. Another issue was the bottle of adhesive that came with it. Unfortunately, the package didn’t provide any clear guidance on what it’s for or where to apply it. This left me feeling somewhat lost during the installation. Furthermore, i thought that the swivel arms would easily fit when it goes across to the other side. Wrong….. When you want to use it, you have to remove both of the arms and reposition them to the appropriate side. This added an extra step and was a bit inconvenient. Even though I securely tightened the screws, I can’t help but worry whether it will stay in place without rattling. Overall, the product is functional, but it definitely needs better instructions and some design improvements to make the installation and usage smoother. ... show more

Before this purchase, I tried to buy parts from Toyota directly but that can get expensive. So I decided to branch out and give these a go. I am really glad I did because this roof rack is well-made and was simple to install, with the help of a video (the printed instructions are a little confusing). The total installation time was 45 minutes and this roof rack can stand toe to toe with the original part. ... show more
