No issues so far. I did drop a light prior to getting installed, the light wouldn't turn on so I had to order a backpack. They are light weight but not super cheap looking. This was for a new build and I spent hours looking for the right lighting in my bathroom. I’m happy with them. I used them in my stairwell and over my bathroom mirrors. I did not hardwire them so I can’t really review the ease of installation. I screwed them to the wall and used puck lights instead. I bought an adapter just to fill the hole where the lightbulb gets screwed in. I attached the puck light using Velcro stickers. We can operate them with a remote. While the light isn’t bright with this method, it’s used mostly as wall decor for us so it’s not an issue. The dim light adds ambiance and helps fill the wall space. We needed direct illumination over our outdoor grills, but (as the photo reveals) the Shed wall behind them is shorter than a usual exterior wall. These fixtures are small enough to do the job without looking out-of-place. We also installed flat puck lights (https://a.co/d/7go6plo) instead of clear Edison bulbs because the pucks don't hang so low as to blind the chef! Update: The decorative screw-on nuts (on each side of the base) have rusted. Might be a good idea to paint them with semi-gloss black before installation. Anyway, I'm leaving my original rating at 5 Stars because even if it costs a few dollars to replace the nuts, the price for the lamps is super low. ... show more

These are cheap fixtures, make no mistake, but if you are flipping a house or working on a tight budget, these do the job and look good when mounted. The first thing you will notice on cheap fixtures like this is they are usually a little crooked. So, if you hang two of these next to each other, there may not be symmetry. Don't be afraid to gently bend or rotate where the arm meets the base in order to get a symmetrical fit. I would buy these again if I were on a budget, but there might be better options out there. NOTE: When a standard rough-in lightbox is installed on a stud for a wall sconce, the screw holes on the box sit 45 degrees diagonally. Because of that, most wall sconces that utilize decorative cap nuts for mounting, also come with a mounting plate that swivels. That enables the mounting studs to be rotated so the cap nuts line up horizontally. This light fixture has a fixed mounting plate, so the cap nuts will also be 45 degrees diagonally. That requires that you loosen the nut at the base of the arm and rotate the arm/shade assembly 45 degrees so it sits horizontally. It's a really stupid design by people who clearly don't understand electrical rough-ins. If that's the kind of thing that bugs you, steer clear of these fixtures. ... show more
