The seller contacted me after I ordered asking if I was okay with flexible panels instead of glass. I said okay. After less than a year, the top layer of plastic has been broken down by the sun and is flaking off. I have not yet measured how much the flaking is interfering with power generation, but I have 4 panels that are still in the box I can try to compare to. ... show more

We had a lot of trouble, we got talked into upgrading the inverter and then the "upgraded" one blew the first time we tried it. They wanted us to solder it ourselves!! Huh? In the end we ended up getting the original inverter and its been actually pretty damn good. We ordered this in November and didn't get everything settled until the following April. The seller is from China so the response time is very slow. We have not put up the wind turbine yet because we can't get a straight answer from the seller as to what pole/tower to purchase. All in all, its a great starter kit that you can build on. We live in central wisconsin so we are curious to see how we do through the winter. But hey, were not running a generator 24/7 so that has been really helpful. ... show more
