The lamps are beautiful. But quit working after four months. There is no other way to turn them on except by touch. The company Reaketon listed one year warranty on the Amazon sell site. But they were hard to communicate with and only offer me a $20 rebate. Not honoring the warranty of one year. They stopped communicating with me after the twenty dollar offer. I called Amazon they gave me a rerun but charge me restocking fee on items that don’t work. To say I’m beyond pissed. PLEASE DONT BUY ... show more

These lamps are absolutely beautiful and look just like the picture. Great quality too! They're very easy to put together and maybe took me 10 minutes for both. To turn them on and off, you tap the FRONT of the neck of the lamp. I really like that feature. As for brightness, they're perfect accent lamps. They are not going to light up a whole room, but they will help brighten up a dark area and are bright enough to read with. Definitely brighter than a buffet lamp, for example. These lamps are so nice. They’re taller than I expected, but not in a bad way. They’re heavy and really great quality. The shade is white which I love, so many come with a yellowish off white shade that changes the lighting in the room. It comes with a 3 level bulb that makes the perfect brightness levels. I really like the lamps but they have two issues. One of which I cannot correct. Both necks were slanted/tilted. One more so than the other. The shades were ok but I found better ones at At Home. Keeping my fingers crossed the replacements will be better.
