I had a kayaking weekend coming up and needed some rails for my Jeep. These arrived in just 1 day (nice work Amazon) and were a very fair price. The install was a little slow, about an hour, mostly because the screws are tricky to get to against the roof of my Jeep, but it was pretty simple and intuitive, no direction really needed. I was impressed how solid the aluminum rails are but more so the end pieces which are also a very solid aluminum, no plastic at all! As I drove to get the kayaks. I turned the radio off and listened. At 70 mph, I thought the rails added just a little extra wind noise but it wasn't hardly noticeable. I attached my Thule kayak holders and strapped on the kayaks to the Thule kayak holders and rails, not to the Jeep. Driving to our destination, these rails took all the weight of the kayak as well as all the pull from the wind as I drove down the highway with the kayaks at 70 mph. No issues at all. These racks did a GREAT job, are solid, quiet, look nice, and are definitely a good product and a good value. I rarely write reviews, but these are very nice, solid rails!

Everything bolts up but the angle on the brackets is wrong, I’m gonna have to shave off 1/4 of an inch to the bottom of the brackets, so the sit flush with the outter rail

Surprisingly good quality. The mounting brackets are cast aluminum and seem to be pretty strong. The fit was perfect I did not use the rubber mounting grommets and have not regretted that. These racks look factory. No problems with the single sunroof getting in the way. Pay attention to the instructions and make sure you get the correct bar for the front and back they are different size by about an inch. The most important hint I can give as far as installation is to pre-install the underneath small screws that hold the mounting bracket to the cross bars there's four on each set of bars and they're the little screws If you wait till the bars are locked down to tighten these you'll never get the ability to see to use the little wrench it's just about impossible.. so tighten them before you tighten the mounting brackets down.! I'm very happy with these racks I've put about 1500 mi on the car since I've got them and they're as tight as they were when I put them on.

I haven't used them yet. The installation was tedious at best. There were no "instructions", just a list of parts and a couple of illustrations. with the proper instructions the installation would be fairly easy. No instructions-NOT easy. Some trial and error over 2 1/2 hours.
