I originally bought just one of these bar chairs when I first moved to Austin and basically had zero furniture. The plan was “temporary seating” until I got everything else sorted out… but somehow this ended up becoming the most-used chair in my apartment. It’s surprisingly sturdy, super comfy for long sitting sessions, and honestly looks way more expensive than it is. I use it for everything now, eating, working. The back support and armrests make a huge difference compared to typical bar stools that feel like punishment after 20 minutes. The gold legs + black seat combo also looks really clean and modern in person. Easy to wipe down too. My only regret is not buying a pair from the beginning….
