I have been looking C9 lightbulbs all year in Target, Menards, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. with no luck. I thought once Christmas got here there would be some around. But alas no luck! I read some reviews on these C9 bulbs and ordered them. I needed them for outside Christmas lights. I did have 3 burnt out ones so I replaced them a couple of weeks ago and so far they are all still working! Even if I have a few failures, with 25 I should be fine for several years. These are a very good replacement bulb for the C-9 bulbs that are clear since some of mine faded from sun. I live in Florida. The blue ones go first. The only downside was that of the colors...I never had YELLOW ones originally... would have preferred Magenta. I was surprised that none were broken considering they came in a flimsy box wrapped in paper packaging... Very happy otherwise. ... show more

They were exactly what I needed. I had the big outside xmas string lights and I thought the bulbs were obsolete as I don't see this style in stores anymore..but I went by the size chart and they were perfect. I'm actually using them as a patio light as a temporary fix until we get lights wired up. We put these on a timer and for now I like the look. ... show more
