I had very high expectations for this refurbished iPhone! To begin with, the positives: It was a lovely phone, in outstanding cosmetic condition - it appeared brand new. The seller was also very gracious to include a screen protector, and I have no complaints regarding the seller, delivery, or customer service. The negatives: It functioned perfectly when it first arrived, with no glitches and an easy transfer process. I was not satisfied with the camera; I am uncertain if this is a characteristic of the iPhone 14, but I do not believe the photo quality surpasses that of my previous phone, which was an iPhone 12. I expected it to produce higher quality images, but perhaps it was returned for refurbishment due to the camera issues? After 2-3 weeks, the phone started to shut down unexpectedly, even when fully charged, and when it powered back on after a few seconds, it would show only 10% battery life? This was peculiar. The battery health was reported to be at 90%, which I found surprising, but later discovered that this percentage can be manipulated to reflect better battery health, even if that is not the reality. Aside from the random shutdowns, my phone required charging every 3 hours, and within 2 weeks, the battery health dropped from 90% to 80%. It would have been an amazing deal and worth the money for a 1TB phone in great exterior condition , and Iā€™m sad I had to return it . I could not handle the random shut downs and constant charging and the photo quality was also a big factor (it might just have been my phone and not all iPhone 14ā€™s). Iā€™m bummed! But return was easy & just a friendly reminder that whenever you do drop off a pricey item like this for returns, get a print out of the receipt !
