Very impressive system
Set name: 18000BTU 208V-230V
My 1st experience with a Ductless mini split system. Im please with its performance as it cools and heats very well. It came with an very easy to use remote control that allows me select heat, cool, high, low, And even to set a timer. Has a built in dehumidifier as well as a circulation fan that circulates the already hot or cold air in the room. Installation was a little more than I could handle alone, only because it had to be wired directly into my breaker box because its a 220 volt system. I was extremely glad that it did in fact include everything needed for Installation so that was excellent. Installation took about an hour and a half from start to finish and costed me an extra $125 which i was happy to pay. I am so happy with this mini split system as it is highly efficient and per my 2nd power bill since Installation, its more affordable than window units ive had in the past. Price point is a bit higher than similar sized window units but the cooling power and added heating power makes this unit a great value for the money. Im pleased, impressed, and cool. Cant wait for winter !!! ... show more

Quiet, Powerful, and Easy to Use
Set name: 18000BTU 208V-230V
This mini-split has been a great addition to our home so far. One thing to be aware of is that it arrives in two separate shipments, so make sure both boxes show up before you panic that something is missing. We hired a professional to install it, which I think is the way to go unless you have HVAC experience. It's definitely not a simple DIY project like installing a window AC. Once everything was hooked up, it started cooling the room almost immediately. Since it's only early June, I haven't put it through a full summer or winter yet, but my first impression has been really good. The cooling works great, and it doesn't take long at all to get the room comfortable. I tested the heat mode on a cooler evening, and it warmed things up quickly too. I also like that it uses inverter technology which should be more energy efficient than my older system. Instead of constantly turning on and off, it adjusts as needed to maintain the temperature. I'm curious to see how it affects my electric bill over the next few months. The remote is straightforward to use, and there are plenty of options with the Cool, Heat, Dry, and Fan modes. Sleep Mode has probably been my favorite feature so far because the unit is incredibly quiet at night. The unit is rated for up to 1,250 square feet, but I'm using it in medium-sized bedrooms and it has no problem keeping them comfortable. The airflow is strong, and the temperature stays consistent too. ... show more

Excellent performance for the price, but plan on professional installation
Set name: 18000BTU 208V-230V
This mini split is an excellent value for what you get. The build quality feels very good, and once installed, it does a strong job cooling and heating a large space. For the power and coverage it offers, the price feels especially impressive. It has worked very well in actual use. It cools efficiently, heats effectively, and feels like a serious upgrade for a bigger room or open area. Everything about it seems solid once it is up and running. That said, this is not something I would recommend installing on your own unless you truly know what you are doing. In my experience, this is a professional installation product. If you factor that in from the start, it feels like a very worthwhile purchase. Pros • Excellent value for the size and power • Good overall build quality • Cools large spaces well • Heats large spaces well • Strong performance once installed • Impressive price for what it offers Cons • Professional installation is really needed • Installation adds to the total cost Bottom line This is a great buy if you want an affordable mini split that can handle a large space and perform well year round. Just be realistic about the installation, because the unit is a strong value but not really a casual DIY setup. ... show more

Powerful mini split with efficient cooling and heating
Set name: 18000BTU 208V-230V
I’m very happy with this 18,000 BTU mini split air conditioner and heat pump. It does a great job cooling the space quickly, and it keeps the temperature consistent without constantly blasting on and off. The inverter system seems to run more efficiently and quietly than a traditional unit, which makes a big difference for everyday comfort. The heating function is also a huge plus, so it’s nice to have one system that works well in both warm and cold weather. It’s been a great option for a larger room or open area, and it has no problem handling the space it’s rated for. I also like the convenience features like the 24 hour timer and easy controls. The unit looks clean and modern once installed, and the installation kit is helpful to have included. Overall, it feels like a solid value for anyone looking for an energy efficient ductless system. The main thing to keep in mind is that this is a 208–230V unit, so make sure your electrical setup matches and be prepared for proper installation. But once installed, it works very well and keeps the room comfortable. Overall, this is a great mini split for cooling and heating, especially if you want something powerful, quiet, and more energy efficient than a standard window unit. ... show more

Hot Summer Necessity

The wall-mounted AC and heat pump combo arrived in two heavy boxes. Installation was straightforward by following the included instructions and using tools from my workbench. It was a two-person job that took a couple of hours. The unit works as advertised. While not completely silent, I wouldn’t call it noisy. I’m in the Pacific Northwest, and it seems to work well with our milder hot temperatures compared to areas with extreme heat. The combo feels as though it will work well for a few years and seems reliable enough for our summer months. The price is fairly average compared to the competition. ... show more

Awesome Mini split unit
Set name: 18000BTU 208V-230V
This unit was pretty forward to install and setup, just follow the manual step by step or watch a youtube guide on how to install. I would recommend when installing to call an electrician to double check your work and also to call an AC company to come out and fill the unit up since the lines are not charged, rather than that mounting and installing and running all the wiring was easy. once we got it hook up it keeps most of the front of our house nice and cool and best part is that it's pretty quit, way quit than a Window unit, will do an update with the heating when winter comes around. ... show more
