    • So far they seem to work great - but they smell at first!!
I bought these for use in our security cameras - and they seem to work great; I only needed two right now so I have plenty of extras for the other cameras when their batteries run down. But the one thing I was not expecting was the odor - when I opened the external box they came in, I could already smell them - it got worse as I pulled the internal boxes open and then removed the cellophane wrap. It's a definite strong smell left over from manufacturing. I checked them all for leaks, etc., and found none - they're stored away for when I need them, but might want to open these outdoors or in your garage or something. For the price, not complaining - they are a great price and good value, otherwise and I'll be keeping them. ... show more

    • Good batteries, good exp dates, weird packaging
The packaging was odd - some were in original packaging that was manually torn across the top and bottom (separating them out from larger bulk items, probably) and the remaining batteries were loose in a plastic baggie. I noted the expiration dates were 2049 for the packaged ones and 2050 for the loose ones. I was concerned about the loose ones since they might have been used instead of completely new. However, I have a very good volt meter and I tested all loose batteries - every one had exactly the same voltage - 1.78. This is very good for batteries rated at 1.5 V. The batteries are a good price and the packaging is not really an issue given their condition and quality. ... show more
