I mostly use the "Acai berry" due to its fragrance, but recently tried the "wild berry". Both have performed the same though as far as holding, but I have to say that use this in combination with GOT 2 B "glued blasting freeze spray"... I don't like ALOT of product in my hair, but honestly - when I am wanting a certain style , I have to use certain things to accomplish that. Sooo, I am happy with the combination of using this product with the Got 2 B (because) the gel works for me in the area of softening / conditioning as well as the smooth hold that I love --- but I apply the Got 2 B for holding as long as I want it to (since GOT 2 B holds on a more stiffer side), I get the balance that I want between hold and smoothness. I use this not just for edges, but for smoothing out the perimeter of my hair when doing updo's and pony tails with my natural coily hair. I USE THE GEL ALONE WHEN IT COMES TO DOING BRAIDS AND TWISTS WITH NATURAL HAIR AND HAIR EXTENSIONS THOUGH, it's perfect for me when using on various hair textures and have not found a hair texture that I do not like to use it on as of yet.

my favorite brand and edge control. They all smell amazing and this company has amazing customer service. There was one time i ordered a pack of edge controls from them and i guess they got damaged during shipping and some of the product had evaporated, leaving my containers not full. i contacted their customer support and they offered me a refund or to just replace the products. i opted to replace the products , and they were so kind and patient letting me know all the scents they had left and happily mailed them to my house in a quick manner. This edge control holds my edges/hairstyles all day, even when i’m sweating . And i love matching their edge control scents to my perfumes im already wearing. And this family sized one just lasted me 9months! i’m so surprised it’s lasted this long, granted you only need a tiny bit when using it for your edges . I ordered this acai family size in jan 2023 , It is now sept 2023 and i could definitely get one more month out of this jar ! i always recommend this brand to everyone

This is not the same as the other one that I ordered. The Kiwi Pineapples was every person’s dream. It’s held all day and never flaked. And it was very shiny. This one is the total opposite .it doesn’t stay down and it flakes and no shine. My edges are white with this on it.

Love this product! It smells good and Lon lasting on your hair. Leaves your hair shiny and sleek. Only thing is if you keep piling it on your hair it may turn it white. Recommend putting too much at one time.

The egde control works decently. Almost the same strength as the green kind however the smell from this berry one is funky. Like fruity sweet smelling lotion covering funky feet smell. I have to put other products on top of it and perfume to wear it out but I already used some to test it so I cant return it. Hopefully I got a bad batch. It slicks down hair decently with the help of hairspray for my 4a/3c hair.
