The media could not be loaded. Got this as a gift for my 7 yr old son but my 3 yr old daughter enjoyed it just as much. We really liked the built in microphone the best. There are also other features that makes the keyboard fun for the kids. It include different tones, rhymes, percussions, demos and much more. Bought this keyboard for a 3-4 year old who loves music and musical toys. So far this is a decent keyboard for a preschool age kid, though I would not recommend it for older kids who may be interested in learning the piano. ::Pros:: - Lightweight - Good, small size for younger kids - Can run on either USB power or 3x AA batteries - Simple buttons to change sounds, play beats or demo songs - Includes a little microphone that stores in the bottom of the keyboard ::Cons:: - (MAJOR) Only two keys can play sound at the same time. If you press a third+ key, no sound - No headphone jack - Included USB power cable is only 3' long, which means your child will probably be sitting on the floor next to an outlet. (Tip: buy a longer one separately... search "micro USB cable") ::Good to know:: - No USB wall plug included. An old USB phone charger plug will work, but buy one separately if you don't have a spare to use. - No batteries included, but not necessary if you're using USB power. This was only supposed to be a starter piano/keyboard for my 3 year old so we weren’t expecting much and she does have a lot of fun with it. The included microphone was a cute little addition but you have to kind of cup your hand over it to hear your voice. The animal sounds don’t exactly sound like what I’d expect to hear from other devices. I do like the size and weight of it as it is super easy for my 3 year old to carry around. I also had to apply tape to the back battery compartment as the back won’t stay on making the batteries fall out. Sound is very good though and for a starter piano it will work. ... show more

Update: I contacted customer service and they were great. Answered very quickly and offered a partial refund. I rejected it because i wanted a mic replacement. They offered a new piano instead! Excellent way of making a customer happy. ....... This product was perfect for my 4 year old until 5 minutes after using it. The mic jack started breaking. I was making sure the cord wasn't being pulled and just with normal and careful use it started breaking. Everything else is great, but they should have done a better job with the mic. ... show more

    • Would my special needs great-grandson enjoy this?
I just received this today and put batteries in it and found it to be VERY good for the price! The different tones of the instruments are not sufficiently distinguishable from each other, but it doesn't really matter for this price range keyboard. The piano tones and keys were very good. I am excited about giving this precious toy to my precious Down Syndrome great-grandson. I am confident that he will really love this because it will make such interesting sounds for him which he loves. ... show more

From the looks in the picture you would think that the piano was big but it's literally the size of an adult arm maybe a little smaller depending on the size okay. The picture made it look bigger than what it was when you take it out the box is very cheap plastic but worse I only have complaints about the size and the cheap plastic it's made out of but my daughter liked it because she wanted to learn how to play the piano and I guess this does the job I will be buying a better quality one and bigger for sure.
