I used this for my beta tank, and I love how many color options there are, as well as the ability to turn up or down the brightness. it also has a timer and a 24 hour function, which I don't really use but the timer is very handy.

It’s very easy to use on the 24 hour mode Ithis light for my sons 10 gallon planted tank after helping him set it up. I liked it so much that I purchased one for myself. It’s very easy to use on the 24 hour mode. I haven’t had a chance to get into the settings. to customize the light however, this works well turns on when it’s supposed to turn off when it’s supposed to the plants in my tank are doing well. The only reason why I gave it a four star and not a five is because both the lights on my tank and on my sons are set to the exact time and the morning sunrise is red to orange on his and clear on mine so I’m thinking there may have been a few few wire swapped at the manufacture, other than that great light ... show more

I like the easiness of set up with automatic 24/7. Like circling through all the other light colors when requested by my kids. Lights penetrate well no issues with water leaking in thus far. Nothing but positive experience for amateur fish owner

Purchased this for my 10 gallon aquarium because my original lid and light combo finally failed. I bought a clear glass lid to protect it from water splashing. It works great. It’s full spectrum and adjustable brightness and different colors. It has a timer so you can adjust light patterns. It has metal side arms which slide to hold it in place. This light is very dim. I bought it for the 24/7 cycle, but the evening and night light aren't visible inside the aquarium. The light barely penetrates the plants floating on top of my aquarium at the brightest setting. I moved it to my quarantine tank where dim light is better.

Easy to program, just watch the videos here under the product description. Love it, and much cheaper than at Petsmart. It is very tempting to set it for 24/7 and let it do its thing, but best to set it for 6 day hours and 2 night hours, or you will have trouble with algae growth.
