We bought this for our 16yo and she says it plays well, but it comes un-tuned and there was a space that she needed to carve to hold the string in place, on the neck.     • For beginners only. Essentially a toy.
OVERVIEW: This is not a "musical instrument." It's a toy. The front is made of plastic, with a sticker or print or something made to look like wood. The sides and back are just black plastic - they didn't even try there. The strings are made of the standard nylon, but heavy and clumsy. It sounds deeper than a soprano ukulele should be, and it only holds tuning for about an hour, after being settled for a while. You may be wondering: why is this review four stars then? Answer: because all those cons are exactly what I expected when I bought it. I just wanted to make sure people knew about this before purchase. This is excellent for a cheap ukulele. It's terrible quality, but considering, the sound isn't TOO far off. For cheap, this is actually a nice product to get. I'd almost say it's a bargain. For me, I didn't know if I would be good at ukulele. I didn't know if I would quit two days in. Knowing this, I bought a cheapo one just so I could see. And this ukulele served me well, for the time I used it. I've since grown out of it - bought a pretty hardwood one instead - but this one was an important step in getting there. It was pretty good. ACCESSORIES: It comes with a cloth carrying case with a strap, which is nice. The stickers for decoration are cheesy, square, and awful, so I didn't use them. I just scratched song lyrics into the surface instead. The little book with chords is nice, and I played with that for about a day until swiftly moving on to googling chords to songs I wanted to learn. The "strap" for holding the ukulele up is completely worthless in my humble opinion. Like. So bad. Don't even try honestly. I three mine away. The tuner doesn't come with batteries and takes some kind of watch battery, and considering that I could download a free tuner app, I just ditched that too. In conclusion, awful quality. Not denying that. But even so, for the price? You're getting something good. ... show more

    • These are nice for the price but bags are too small so buy your own case if you want one.
These are great came well packed and in good condition. My two eldest grandchildren are so excited! I gifted two of these ukuleles and some horns to the kids and their parents and watching them learn together is beyond special. 3and5 year olds are learning to use the tuner. Super cute. I am disappointed that these cute little ukuleles do not fit in the cases that were sent. The children are showing such great respect to their new instruments that it was a disappointment that they wouldn't fit in the zip cases. Judging by the reviews you knew this already and sent the bags that were too small anyway. Therein lies the disappointment. Replacement bags that are about 3 inches longer would be awesome! ... show more

First one came with stripped tuner knobs, but the return and replace process was insanely easy. New one came in less than 4 days, old one i dropped off at my local khols. Great item

    • Loved the Ukulele, not the accessories
The ukulele is just fine, and my daughter is having so much fun with it. I was just slight annoyed that the ukulele won’t fir in the carrying case. They came together so you wouldn’t expect to encounter such a problem. Guess I’ll have to order her a new case.

do not get this! I bought this ukelele for my niece and it did not come with the electric tuner, the books, and the strap nor the picks. It came all nasty as if it was used with finger prints all over it and the case for it was already dirty. Not to mention it came with a printed copy of the wheels on the bus? Very disappointing honestly ... show more
