This is a very nice launch monitor. It works well once setup. Setup is not as easy as the videos show. I spent an hour two days in a row trying to set it up with the support, which were wonderful. The support team was patient and extremely helpful. After all said and done it was determined that I needed a larger graphics card. I had the minimum requirements but some of the courses needed more from my graphics card. I have 4 courses that I can use presently until I either add an external graphics card or up grade my laptop which is not that old so I may hold off on that. The driving range works well also. I compared my ball striking to a local simulator that I visited and all seems good. Some of the courses require you to click on the club icon when putting otherwise it doesn’t recognize your putt. Some courses don’t require you to do that. It’s up and running for a few days now and hopefully I’ll be enjoying this for many years to come. I believe I’ll be happy with this monitor.

Just picked up the new FlightScope Mevo Gen 2 and couldn’t be happier. For the price, this launch monitor delivers incredible value: accurate data, easy setup, and a solid app experience. It gives me the feedback I need to improve my game without spending thousands like some of the higher-end models. Highly recommended for anyone serious about practice but working with a more realistic budget for a pro-level launch monitor.

Well out of the box and 2 hours of trying to get this unit to work. It is definitely disappointing. Tracks about 1 of 10 shots. Only seems to register a low 9 iron every third fourth shot. Most of the time setup says ready. Go through all the calibration setup 8ft behind the ball get the calibration correct on the ball. “Ready”. Then nothing. Maybe club speed if we are lucky. We toggled between Outdoor and Limited flight. No difference. Also, I bought this for my two Grand kids to share, but will only allow one device to connect. Even if the device is disconnected it will not allow the second device to connect. Power cycled and reset phones. Only the one device was allowed to connect. Turns a simple practice into aggravation trying to align the ball check angle for “Ready” then swing,,,,ball travels look on phone app,,,nothing. Lesson learned spend the money on a real device.

Setup was a pain. I am a tech guy and struggled with getting it connected to my iPad. Definitely needs another firmware upgrade or two… Update: after the latest firmware update, the scope connects very easily. That being said, my distances are still way off. I have to set elevation to 5000ft. Otherwise my clubs are 15+ yards off from real life. Update #2: Between setup and firmware updates, my distances are now SPOT ON. I am changing my review to a 4/5. I’d give it a 5 but setup was still a pain…

When it worked, it was great, but unfortunately it was always having connection issues and I ended up spending way too much time getting it connected. I tried another competitor product that just connects without any issues, saving time and frustration.

The media could not be loaded. Definitely not worth it for home simulator. Working with the customer service team to figure out the problems. I want to be happy with it but struggle with each round of golf on E6. Yardage is way off, the lighting has to be just perfect. The app and connection is easy if you’re tech savvy. I’m direct wired in for internet to my PC and WiFi to the launch monitor. You need a pc to enjoy this launch monitor to its full potential. I haven’t used RCT balls yet but using the stickers provided on pro v1 balls and the accuracy is about 20-30 yards off on driver. 6-wedge plus or minus 15yards. I would pass if I seen this kinda of review. I bought this for simulator purposes only..so I would pass knowing what I know now. It does provide a ton of info so if you’re into the data but not into playing a round of golf. 5stars on the data. It does update, so maybe the updates will fix majority of the issues on yardages.
