This lawnmower was mostly put together. You just sort of have to put a few things here and there, but no big deal. This one has the power you need to cut the thicker grass. Just remember, I hire cc rating is generally a more powerful reading and can cut through thicker and to her grass. For example, an engine with a 130 cc engine is less powerful than an engine with a 165 cc engine. If you do not know this, you may be disappointed in any kind of lawnmower that you pick up and do not understand this concept. Anything rated over 160 cc I would recommend getting. This lawnmower is pretty tough. It has the power and it cuts very well. The value for the money was not too bad and it was a pretty good quality. The self-propelled feature is very strong so you won’t be disappointed in that either. ... show more

Buy it Super efficient Self-Propelled belt.driven rear wheel drive Starts literally half an easy pull!. 3 quick pushes to choke.prime button (I have found.running ethanol free helps with gas.sitting. "rec gas" 89-90.octane is enough .it's not a race bike Super easy to.change cut height Simple.eady quick to add bag or.change to side.discharge I've been limping with my.old mower for 20 years. This.thing is great Time.will.tell. I seriously doubt 25 years like my.old one toro. Ha! no way these days same product as powersmart. Negative infinity stars. This mower just died 1/2-way through the 2nd time it was used. Consulted a professional small engine repair business and was told it wasn’t worth fixing and to NEVER buy a mower like this. It has been scrapped. Key Takeaway: it only completed 1 and 1/2 cuts on a 1/4 acre (not a big property) before it was completely useless. Amazon was good about resolving this problem, but you will be responsible for the disposal of this junk since you’ll have already put gas and oil in it. DO NOT BUY!!! ... show more

I purchased this mower in March 2025 because it was on sale. During the spring, summer, and fall of 2025, it performed as expected. However, it quickly became apparent that the mower is built with a significant amount of plastic and soft metal components, which raised concerns about its long-term durability. I also found the factory blade to be of poor quality and replaced it halfway through the first season with a higher-quality aftermarket blade. Toward the end of the 2025 mowing season, the self-propel feature began losing power and would occasionally stop working altogether. During the winter, I inspected the drive system and found no obvious problems other than some looseness. After contacting Amerisun customer service, I was advised to replace the drive belt. The belt was easy to find on their website, but shipping was disappointing. My order remained in "preparing" status for 10 days, and it took more than two weeks to arrive. Replacing the belt was simple, but unfortunately it did not solve the problem. When I used the mower for the first time in spring 2026, I discovered that the real issue was that the gearbox on the rear axle had become loose and shifted under belt tension. Despite my efforts to explain the issue, customer support offered little assistance. I eventually took the mower to a local repair shop. After inspecting it, they informed me that the seal around the self-propel gearbox where it attached to the axel had failed and that repairing it would cost more than purchasing a new mower. I understand that I may have received a defective unit, but this level of failure after only one full season of use is disappointing. For comparison, the inexpensive store-brand mower I owned previously lasted 17 years. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this mower due to its questionable durability and poor long-term value. ... show more

Easy to assemble, my 15 year old did it even while listening to tunes. He even cut the 1/3 acre lawn 2x before I found out he only put a half a quart of oil in it!! So yeah, I'd buy one again!!
