Arrived quickly. Packaged well. Easily assembled without tools. I absolutely love this. I have a double wide driveway, a bad back, and dare I say I'm getting up there in age so this has been a game changer for me. It works best in lighter snow. If I'm able to move fast, then I can get the whole driveway done with just the one battery charge. However, if the snow's a little bit heavier or I have to go back and redo some areas, the battery has run out and I've had to finish up with a traditional shovel. I keep the battery on the charger and in the house, which I read in previous reviews helps it to last longer than if the battery is kept in a colder place, such as a garage. ... show more

Love it and lightweight. Easy to use but don’t like the lock on handle. I have small hands and it’s hard to hold in the safety while squeezing the handle to use. Only difficult thing about this. I had to tape the safety in to use that is why I am giving it a 4 star.

    • A SMALL BUT MIGHTY SNOW SHOVEL WITH A LEVER TO CONTROL DIRECTION OF SNOW THROWN

I ordered this show shovel with low expectations having bought a cordless snowblower last year that works great. I wanted this one for stairs, my back patio and for areas that are too small for the snowblower. I have to say that it far exceeded my expectations. Timing couldn't have been better. It arrived on time but even better, a snowstorm was expected the following day. At this point I want to stress the importance of 'timing'. The 1st week of Jan. I ordered a different snow shovel. I was very surprised to find the delivery date to be Jan. 26. I contacted the seller to say that we only had 3 months of winter & the entire month of Jan. would be over by time I received it. I got feedback, no explanation for why so late a delivery date but wanted me to send proof I ordered it. I called Amazon for help. I was told that they have no control over when a 3rd party seller ships. If Amazon isn't part of the seller process then you risk no guarantee of 30 days return or free shipping. Always make sure Amazon's name is listed with seller's name when ordering. I was given an option to buy this unit instead as Amazon ships it and with a $20 coupon it would end up costing less than the one I ordered. I went to the item page & read that it had a lever that controlled the direction L & R that the snow was thrown in besides just shooting out the front where you would be removing snow. This was the deciding factor for me as I couldn't use the other snow shovel at the front of my property with snow thrown on neighbors property or into the street. I never expected that we'd be getting snow in less than 12hrs so it was easy to assemble with no tools needed. The handle didn't have wires inside it there were prongs that fit into the previous section and twist on handle parts. I took it out to what was a good 5inches of snow. It did the stairs very easy to maneuver, then the walkway -again no problem. Then came the driveway which I had cleaned all the snow off my car & had stepped on it all in the process. This shovel barreled through it, with a lot of effort on my part to really push it because it was so packed but once it got going it really did throw the snow far enough to be out of the way. I really expected to take out the snowblower for the driveway but it cleaned off all of the area around my car so it wasn't necessary. Next, the main reason I bought it was for the back patio where some of the cement was broken & not all level. Being less than 9lbs I could lift it up easily when it got to these spots and by the time I got all of the areas around the house cleared I still had some battery left. I was totally amazed. Next time I will bring the snowblower out for the driveway as it has wheels & much easier to move over difficult snow, but this little shovel far exceeded any expectations I had & I would very much recommend this shovel to anyone. We're expecting more snow in a few days & had I not cancelled the other shovel & bought this one I would have 2 storms in Jan. without it, so this is why I'm so glad I bought this one. ... show more

I finally got to use this today and it is amazing! I don’t get a lot of snow (probably 1-2 inches most times) and the storms are not frequent, so I did not want to spend the money or store a large blower. This does quick work of the snow, which isn’t a large area, and what usually takes me 1/2 hour or more to shovel manually took less than 10 minutes with this blower. The ability to change the direction was a great feature, although the snow still kind of goes everywhere. If there is some wind, it becomes a very interactive experience, so dress accordingly. The snow I get is very dry and light, so I don’t know how it would do with heavy snow, but I suspect it would still work well. ... show more

It makes it easier to shovel the snow on my driveway, especially since my driveway is so steep. The battery dies quickly. I had to charge it twice just to finish my driveway. It is definitely better when there is light snow out. If it is more than an inch or two, then it's harder to use

The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t sure how well this little 12” Cordless Electric Snow Blower would actually perform in a real snow clearing situation but I am quite pleased at how well it works on a flat concrete surface. Note that since the blades are plastic and do not have a soft rubber edge like a typical snow blower the blades would likely get damaged if trying to use on a rough or uneven surface. This little battery powered snow blower does have directional control and as seen in the video clip below it throws snow quite aways out from the snow blower. Note that this was very dry lightweight snow and only about 1-1/4” deep but the blower definitely works well. ... show more
