The majority of the games on this thing are copies of each other with slight variations. Many of them are just simply not good or worth playing, many of them don't even play well. The audio bugs out really bad with crackling, and other games lose their image. When a game finally DOES work, the controller is absolute garbage. It comes with 2 controllers and both often don't register your button presses and regularly will have you just stop moving when using the D-Pad or the sticks. This thing is definitely not worth it.

After maybe 5 minutes, I figured I had forgotten to plug in the power supply. After that, the setup was easy. I try to play Street Fighter with my son, but I couldn't figure out how to get the second controller to register correctly. The controllers would keep taking turns at being player 1 every few seconds. So I just gave up on two-player games. You can't sit too far from the TV, cause then the controller will start to lag. So basically, you have an imaginary wire connecting the controller to the TV; get too far, and you disconnect. The old school Pokemon pokemon games aren't there, just fan remakes I've never heard of. So if you were looking forward to the old Pokémon games, it isn't for you. There's a ton of games, but sometimes you'll have the same game from 8 different countries, so I guess that counts for the 40K games. Overall, if your kids are young and you want them to experience some of the really old-school games you enjoyed as a kid, then it's perfect for that.

Super easy to install. It connected in seconds and came ready to play right out of the box. It has a ton of games and is perfect for passing the time or revisiting the classics; the controls worked very well for me—they are smooth.

Ya, its not good. Controller input lag. Setup instructions will make a non-tech person be confused. On top of that, after I player the 1 Gameboy pokemon game I could find in English despite 40k games, I had to "save state" or lose progress. Also, it stopped even booting games. If you can get this trash for sub $25, it's a steal. Otherwise, it's trash, fam.

Filled with retro games, and was really excited for the nostalgia but the connection to the controllers make it almost impossible. Controllers are slow if they even register button presses at all. Can’t play if controllers don’t work. Otherwise tons of retro games from all systems. Wanted to love it.
