Features

  • Six Flight ModesIt offers 6 flight modes, including stabilize, gyro, manual, acrobat, and vertical flight (fixed wing & quadcopter) modes. This makes it adaptable for different skill levels and flying styles. Just push the button to easily change flight modes with switches.
  • 4KM Control Range and Support RSSI & Voltage TelemetryReal pseudo-random algorithm FHSS communication technology makes T8S and R8XM with stable signal and long-range control range, it supports telemetry for RSSI and real-time battery voltage. The T8S controller sounds "DDD" to alert you when the airplane's battery is low.
  • Fresh Breeze ResistanceThe control algorithm and digital filter are applied to the Byme-A flight controller to stabilize the airplane, making it easier to control, and reducing the risk of crashes. One piece of the wing structure and powerful brushless system make the A560 easy to fly in the fresh breeze.
  • Crash ResistanceThe body is made of durable polypropylene (PP) foam, which is lightweight and resistant to crash, it doesn't easily bend out of shape.
  • A Few Minutes to Fully AssemblyFactory installed 2204-1600KV brushless motor and 15A FLYCOLOR ESC, Byme-A flight controller, and R8XM receiver. No glue or tape is required, it only a few minutes to assemble the full body.

  • Durable and Fun Trainer
Edition: A560 PNP
I bought this A560 trainer to learn. First time pilot here. I ended up buying this kit without the controller because I wanted the AT10ii transmitter. This way I can easily switch between different aircraft as I grow into this hobby. First time assembly was a breeze. In order to work with the AT10ii though, you must upgrade the receiver. I bought the R9DS receiver and PRM-01 telemetry module so I could get battery life alerts. Everything is basically plug n play with a little research and reading all the manuals. See my pics to see how I mounted everything. So far I have several hours flight time now. It's amazing how much confidence you gain from the flight controller. I programmed the AT10ii to match the stock controller switches so changing modes is fairly easy. The AT10ii even displays what mode you're in. I normally takeoff in beginner mode, do a few passes, then switch to more advanced modes to practice different tricks and landing. Despite what other reviews say, this thing is TOUGH! I am a total beginner. So I crash, a lot. I have full-throttle dive-bombed the runway, a fence, a boulder, the runway, the runway again, and a bush. Each time I crash, I fully expect this plane to be beyond repair, but a little hot glue or some of the reinforced packing tape (comes in the kit) and your up and flying in no time. Its way more abuse than a delicate balsa kit is capable of sustaining (I just built a Dumas Waco YMF-3 and there is absolutely no way it could fly after a crash without serious surgery). I have broken the A560 wings, ailerons, fuselage multiple times, and 3 propellers. After a quick repair, it still keeps on going! I know by the end of summer it'll be mostly hotglue and tape but that's the whole point of a trainer.. learn the hard way and don't trash a much more expensive plane trying to learn. The motor has taken several direct hits and it's incredible how tough it is. Needless to say, I really enjoy flying this plane. The YouTube videos dont oversell how much fun it is to do all sorts of tricks. I never thought I'd get so into this hobby, but it's so much fun! Obviously, I have a long ways to go in learning to fly, but I just had to write this review because the toughness is really incredible. I would recommend extra batteries (one of my worst impacts caused a LiPo to puff up) and extra propellers and O rings. Trust me. You'll need them if you're new to the hobby. It's worthwhile to calibrate it too (see instructions) otherwise you'll be trimming like crazy and switching modes does funky stuff without a proper calibration. One other thing: if the plane does a weird wobbly dance in the wind, you need to adjust the linkage on the aileron servo by moving the connection point to the furthest inside hole (there's a YouTube video on it) .. 100 percent resolved. You lose a little bit of travel angle of the aileron, but its still very nimble. ... show more

  • great non trainer plane
Edition: A560 Ready-to-Fly
great plane, not a trainer. It is super durable, the controller leaves a lot to be desired. Out of the box it is fast and twitchy, if you are use to any expo this will feel out of control. With that said, it is very easy to control, it does 3d very well. This is a great 3rd or 4th plane, not a great 1st plane, but is fun as heck. ... show more

  • Don’t pass this up
Edition: A560 PNP
If you are a RC enthusiast like me of all kinds and you enjoy flying aircraft. This is for you. This is the most unique plane I have come across it is truly amazing. What radiolink has done with this I would consider this a beginner to intermediate plane, but the experience flyer will certainly appreciate this plane and what it is capable of, and there is no other plane that can do with this plane can do. It is a joy to fly, and it even helps intermediate flyers like me who are slowly getting off of the safe mode’s the gyroscope on this plane is awesome tricks they can do is awesome. This plane is a must in your collection. It happens to be the most durable plan I own. It’s a blast you don’t have to worry about it. Busting up on you and you can push it to the limit to not have to worry about it. Seriously if you’re thinking about it, stop looking and buy it. ... show more

  • Fun little plane, wasn't ready to fly tho
Edition: A560 Ready-to-Fly
First off I've been flying 3D airplanes and helicopters for well over 20 years. I picked up the ready to fly kit because I was looking for something small and compact and just easy to carry around and fly in some small spaces. I'm having a lot of fun with this thing, once I got it all set up and everything working properly I really like it, unfortunately it was not set up correctly and ready to fly when it came out of the box, when I moved the sticks to the control services removing backwards so I had to fix that and then I had to adjust the little push rods to get the control surfaces all flat with these sticks in the neutral position, so there was some setup out of the box which you really shouldn't have to do on a ready to fly model but if I would have flown it right out of the box it would have crashed because things were not working properly but after a couple of hours this thing was flying great and it's actually pretty fun No I'm not sure if this is a great first plane for beginners but it's a great first small 3D plan for somebody already knows how to fly I bet I've ran about 40 or 50 flights on it so far, crashed it quite a few times and so far it's taking a licking and it keeps on ticking so it seems pretty durable. I've flown up until about 20 mph winds and well it crashed a couple times due to the high winds so if you're seeing more than like 5 to 10 mph winds you might want to leave this little guy at home. Fine with the gyro in the standard stabilization mode it flies good and no to moderate wind and definitely can't handle much over 10 to 12 mph without it being a major fight to fly. The gyro is pretty cool, I think in the beginner gyro load I think it's a little too aggressive and you got to move the sticks all the way over just to make a turn and I feel like you're kind of fighting with the gyro so I think that gyro mode will probably give somebody bad habits if they learn on that because normally you don't have to move the sticks that much to make it simple turn, now on the regular basic gyro mode that just kind of slightly stabilizes the plane, it flies great and that guy removed which is the left top switch push down the right top switch and the center, but I don't really like any of the other I guess five gyro modes and I don't like flying it without the gyro, it's too all over the place without the gyro, probably cuz it's so small and it responds very quickly to your stick moving, I would probably have to add some expo to these sticks if I were flying it without the gyro but in the regular stabilization mode that only helps you a little bit feels just nice and dialed in and easy going and just about how I would want to airplane the fly, as long as there's not too much wind LOL Now when it comes to a good value for the money I would have to say you're getting a entire kit that should be ready to go as long as they set it up properly the factory, again mine wasn't but if yours is and you can just put on the box and fly it I mean it's really is a good value for the money, of course smaller planes don't fly like a larger plane, for example something with like a 32-in wingspan is still pretty small this has a 23 inch wingspan and there's a night and day difference as to how stable in the air something a little bigger is but if you really need something small and portable and just fun that you can fly in small spots and not have to worry too much about it this is pretty nice ... show more
