Moving into a detached house built in the 1980s came with a few concerns, and the basement and garage were the areas I worried about most. The house was in good condition overall, but shortly after settling in, I found small black droppings behind a storage shelf in the basement. Every so often, I could also hear faint scratching sounds coming from inside the walls at night. I have to say, the smart frequency-switching tech in this little plug-in is a total game-changer for keeping bugs and mice away without dealing with gross traps or smelly chemical sprays. Clicking through the three different modes makes it super easy to customize the setup for whatever room I am working in, and the soft blue light lets me know at a glance that it is doing its thing. The best part is that the sounds are completely out of range for human ears, so the whole thing stays dead silent while I am trying to focus on work during the day or get some sleep at night. It plugs right into the wall and has a slim profile, so it doesn't hog the entire outlet or get in the way of my other cords. It covers a ton of ground too, stretching across my whole garage area to keep the space clear. I am a big fan of the light control feature because I can just hold down the button for three seconds to kill the blue glow entirely while the actual repelling system keeps running in the background. Since it doesn't use any toxic ingredients or give off weird fumes, I feel totally fine leaving it running twenty-four hours a day. I definitely have to give it a few weeks to really see the difference, but it is such a low-maintenance alternative to hiring a pricey exterminator or dealing with messy baits

Picked up this pack because we've had the occasional mouse issue in the basement and garage. Setup was about as simple as it gets. I plugged a few units into different outlets, checked that the correct mode icon was showing, and left them alone. One thing I like is being able to switch between the different frequency modes without digging through a complicated menu. The blue light can also be turned off, which was useful in a hallway where I didn't want extra light showing at night. The units don't take up much outlet space and they don't make any noticeable noise during normal use. The manual mentions that results take some time, so I wasn't expecting anything overnight. Mostly these have been a plug-it-in-and-forget-it type of item. I still checked around the usual corners a couple of times while carrying boxes downstairs, and so far they've been easy to keep running without any attention.

I just plug the units into wall outlets and leave them in the areas where I want extra protection. I wanted something non toxic and easy to use and this product fits that need. It plugs in easily and does not require any setup or maintenance. It works silently so I do not even notice it is on. The coverage seems good for my small rooms and I have placed one in each main area of my house. It uses very little power which is also a plus. After a short time I started noticing fewer insects around the house.

I bought these as we live out in the country and we are no strangers to the many pest we come in contact with. They were easy to set up, but every couple of seconds there is a chirping noise that each of them make. It is pretty annoying and don’t know if we will continue using.

Plugging these in is the whole setup -- they sit flush in the outlet without blocking the second socket, a button cycles the three modes, and the indicator light confirms it is powered. Six in the pack let me cover every room that needed it -- kitchen, garage, basement, and a couple of bedrooms -- instead of carrying one unit around. The ultrasonic side is above my hearing range, so I cannot judge it by ear, and whether it truly drives the mice and bugs out is something only time will tell. So I am rating it on the easy plug-in install, the six-count coverage, and the soft night-light glow that is dim enough to leave on in a hallway -- the parts I can actually speak to.
