really wanted to like this subwoofer, but it was a disappointment from the moment I installed it. The bass is weak, muddy, and nowhere near what the “1600W” claim would make you think. Even with proper tuning, it barely added anything to my system — my door speakers sounded better on their own. The built-in amp gets hot fast, and the unit randomly cuts out after a few minutes of playing at normal volume. The RGB lights are basically the only part that works consistently, and that’s not why I bought it. For the price, this thing just isn’t worth it. Poor sound, poor reliability, and way underpowered. I ended up uninstalling it after a few days. Save your money and look for a better brand. Had to return it ... show more

I ordered two of these for my 1993 Ford Ranger for the value, functionality of the built in amp and size, but I couldn’t keep the first subwoofer running without blowing a fuse.
