There is a bit of bait and switch here. The product title clearly says 4K camera, but in reality the video quality is HD. That is disappointing and something buyers should be aware of upfront. If true 4K resolution is the main reason you are looking at this camera, this is not it. That said, once you get past the misleading title, the camera itself performs reasonably well. Video quality is decent for its size, motion detection works as expected, and the wide angle view is useful for covering a room. For a tiny, portable camera, it does what you would expect from an HD security cam. One of the better parts of this product is the O-CAM Pro app. It is fairly stable, easy to navigate, and offers a good range of settings and features. Live view, playback, and configuration are straightforward, which is not always the case with small WiFi cameras. The biggest annoyance is the aggressive push toward their cloud subscription, priced at about $60 per year. The app repeatedly prompts you to subscribe, and dismissing it requires tapping a button literally labeled "Cruel refusal", which feels unnecessary and irritating. Thankfully, you can insert your own micro SD card and use most of the camera’s features without paying for the subscription. Overall, this is a functional little camera with decent performance, but the misleading 4K claim and the pushy subscription tactics take away from the experience.
