So, although I have only used the Wybot C1 only once this weekend it performed flawlessly. My previous model was a Dolphin Nautilus that lasted me 7 1/2 years, and I am in the process of repairing that model, and wanted something in the midterm to clean the pool. Didn't want to spend a fortune on some of the robot models that are over 1k, and got a great deal on the C1 at $399 on special. I downloaded the app after receiving the unit from Amazon, simply plugged the unit into the wall outlet to charge, took about an hour, but I'm sure it was already partially charged from the factory, so charging speed I cannot give an accurate timeline, but I would say 2-3hrs tops. I then pushed the power button on the unit and tossed it in the pool and it went to work. I have a kidney shaped in ground pool, around 12 x 30ft. Not a huge pool, but it is caged and we still get insects and plant material from our potted plants around the pool in the pool. This time there was a ton of sand in the pool from having our pavers resealed here in FL. I didn't watch the robot the entire time (approx 2 hrs it ran so battery life seems impressive) but after retrieving the robot from the pool the filter basket no lie was half full of sand. It did an amazing job grabbing sand and pollen as pollen is crazy right now in FL. Again longevity is the key to a good purchase and time will tell, but I did also purchase the 3 Yr Asurion coverage through Amazon should I have any failures for an extra $60 for a total of $460. The unit was on special and is usually $499 so I feel good about the purchase and value for the money. The robot did a great job climbing walls and it scrubbers scrubbed the water line. It's LED on the front lets you identify if it is charged, ready to deploy and when it is out of battery. It did come with a hook that you have to put on a standard mop stick, broom stick. I just used an old metal painting extension pole I had and used a self tapping screw to add the hook. The unit is pretty easy to grab after using the hook/stick. The unit itself is not that heavy compared to my previous model when full of water, but still a little heavy. I am male, 47yrs old and in decent shape for reference. I do hope this review helps anyone else making a decision as I spent hours looking at all the models online and whether to go with corded or battery powered unit, but finally decided to try it. All in all so far so good, simple setup, simple app, a truly set and forget robot for a small to medium sized in ground pool. I will say I don't know (as again I didn't watch it every second) if it got all spots in my pool but my pool wasn't that dirty to start with other then sand being on the bottom and it knocked that out, and had way more sand in the basket then I though was even in the pool.

Our 4 year old Dolphin died and was "repaired" twice- the company and repair shop were stumped. That's fun. Enter this wireless upgrade... it's SO nice not having that twisted cord in the pool and in a messy pile on the deck when it's pulled out. This pool vac cleans very well and efficiently and has a decent run time of about 2 hours between charges- which doesn't seem like very long, but it gets the job done. I wish it charged a bit faster (3 hrs for full charge), but it's worth the wait to lose the cord in my opinion. You can also set up a schedule for it to conserve battery and clean for 20-60 min per day for consistent tidying between charges. Very pleased so far with this purchase overall!

I have been using the old Polaris cleaner for years. The one with 20’ hose and booster pump.. got tired of rebuilding that thing every year so decided to go with a robot cleaner. This Wybot has far exceeded my expectations! Throw it in the pool, cleans for 2 hours (walls and floor) then when its down it stops near the edge for me to pick up. I don't leave in the water when its done, comes straight out, clean the filter out, dry it off then back on the charger inside the house. Been using this for several months now once per week and I love this thing!! Life is so much easier not having to brush pool once per week. This thing takes care of all that. Highly recommend! Just take care of it and it will take care of you

The machine works great, but mine failed after a month. Unfortunately this was right after the return window from Amazon closed. I contacted Wybot customer service multiple times with no luck, then Chinese New Year hit and they were out of the office for 2 weeks, followed by a customer service representative arguing with me that I had in fact not purchased a Wybot machine. After again proving that I had purchased this machine, almost 2 months had gone by since my original customer service warranty request, they finally came to me with a resolution of a refurbished machine. Due to their lack of response though I contacted Amazon and was sent a new replacement, but had to chat with them for a couple of hours before they weren't able to make that offer. I would suggest buying a different brand of product in the instance that yours fails like mine did. Note: mine had a track motor failure, and would just spin in circles from the track that worked still. They kept requesting that I send a video via email, to which I would respond I could not send such a video due to the size of the file being too large in order to show the true failure. They continued asking for a video but offered no website where I could upload one.

The WYBOT C1 has been a great addition to my pool setup. It’s cordless, easy to use, and actually picks up a surprising amount of debris. Setup took just a couple of minutes and it’s been super low-maintenance since then. Just drop it in and it gets to work. Battery life is solid, it covers the pool well, and cleanup is quick and simple. For the price, this thing absolutely delivers.

This vacuumed only about half of my pool, when it hits the return fixtures or the main drain fixture, it throws off the path and its logic is not able to correct itself.
