Read the reviews before purchasing and decided to take a chance. This vacuum is exactly as some negative reciews mentioned. It worked for a total of less than 20 minutes. Installed following included instructions, included Flow Guage used. Adjusted between 3-4 as per instructions (that was a process in and of itself), unit moved to wall, climbed up then sucked air until we had mo choice but to manually maneuvered it. Once back to floor of pool unit continued to make 360° turns and clean same area for nearly 10 minutes before stopping all movement. Pump checked, unit checked for debris, all was well. Returned pump to on and unit did not work again. We will be returning the unit. I gave 1 star ONLY because shipping was faster than anticipated. Price is obviously because "you get what you pay for".

This item does a great job of cleaning the pool. It climbs the walls very well & has a long enough hose for our pool. The one problem I haven't solved yet is that it tips over on its side fairly regularly & the hose to the vacuum doesn't lock in place.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this automatic pool cleaner actually works. Very simple set up out of the box & ready to go. This cleaner is thorough & does a great job cleaning my entire pool. For the price you can’t beat this thing honestly. We have a custom pool with benching & a lot of pool cleaners get caught up in the complexity of our pool.,Not this one, it just does its job. Keep in mind you will need to find the sweet spot with your vacuum system. Too much power or not enough & the cleaner may not function the way it needs to. Be patient & find the right amount of vacuum to send to the cleaner & this thing works outstanding!

I bought this one because it claims to be good with a 1.5 HP variable speed pump. Even at full speed without the flow regulator I’m getting just under 10 RPM (manual recommends 12-14) and under 2 on the included flow gauge (manual recommends 3-4). It also stays in the 5’ area of the pool and almost never makes it to the 3’ areas, constantly gets stuck at the base of the walls, and on the rare occasions it does go up a wall makes it about 1’ up before falling back.

Works when it wants. It has to be moved if it's stuck. Had my pool guy look at the presure and the hose and says nothing wrong with the installation. Does not climb up the wall it just stops. You need to keep an eye on it to make sure it's moving. I personally will not be purchasing this product again once it done.

Tried this twice - the first one simply did not move in the pool We have had a pool for thirty years, and we have always done our own maintenance. We know what we are doing. However, this device simply did not work no matter how many adjustments and variations we tried. It was replaced by Amazon's amazing service. THE SECOND ONE: Yup - it simply refused to move in the pool. The second time, Amazon returned our money and we moved on to another brand. We went back to the Hayward Pool Cleaner. It worked immediately.
