This thing holds a LOT of stuff! It's best to put items in to fill the bottom first before putting it on the roof. This way, you'll give some structure to it, then fill it up the rest of the way. We took ours on road trip for 1000 miles on top of my truck that does not have a roof rack. It worked, stayed dry, and generally did what it is designed to do. Negatives were that the “nose” lifted up when driving at/over 65mph. No big deal other than it not being as streamlined and aerodynamic as stated in description. Also getting items placed in the bag while on top of my Ram pickup was a bit of a challenge. Use on top of a car will be much easier. Loading is absolutely key in getting the bag to ride aerodynamically. Heavy items up front, taller softer items to the back work best. All in all very good for the money.

We bought this so we could use the 3rd row in our Kia. Three kids and two adults on a one week beach vacation 15 hours away and it fit everything we needed to bring, including our big cargo wagon. We tightened it down pretty well and there was no noticeable external noise. Hit some driving summer rainstorms and not a drop of moisture on the contents. So pleased with this purchase we will use it on more trips for sure.

This was awesome! Bought it solely for camping to put on my Crosstrek and it fits a lot of our stuff! Queen sleeping bag, 2 large quilt blankets, our tent, a smaller fold up table and games and it could've fit more! we had super bad wind driving one day and it didnt budge! Tying it down is easy once you know what you're doing! 10/10 recommend

I super easy to install and fill all my luggage and I drove through 3 hours of rain during my 14 hour trip and all my items stayed perfectly dry. There is also a lot more room then I expect as well. very satisfied

Been looking at getting a car top carrier for a while to have more space for camping trip supplies. This one fit the bill. It seems well made with good straps. I had no trouble connecting it to the rails on the top of my van. I like that it comes with a non slip mat and hooks to attach to a car with no rack in case we want to use it on our sedan. Haven’t filled it or taken it on a trip yet, but I’m looking forward to it.
