Don’t get me wrong, fantastic device. The only problem for me that would be worth a star or two itself is there is NO HOME BUTTON. I knew this going in and I always have the accessibility option for an on-screen “button” enabled. I really only wanted this for the second gen pen pineapple Apple Pen…cil. I decided to get the 4 instead of the 5 because from what I read the spec differences were not worth the cost. The new processor differences weren’t worth the 200 dollar difference. REFURBISHED, MODEL DIFFERENCES- I got a refurbished, it was absolutely perfect. The charging cable was actually longer. I found a returned Apple Pencil 2 for 65 dollars, was able to max out the specs on this one for the same price as the new air 5 stock standard. The colors on this gen are super boring, but it’s always in a case so who cares. STORAGE- You can put so many apps on this that run perfectly. I’ve never seen it have a problem. KEYBOARD— The new keyboard is odd. I still haven’t quite figured it out yet. Passwords are cumbersome now. Some of it doesn’t make sense and does not feel organic at all. FOR ARTISTS AND WRITERS— As an artist by hobby more than profession, the pro was just always out of reach with regards to cost. Like, ffff how many major electronics can a normal person afford in this day and age? I have no frame of reference but I can say this pencil is PHENOMENAL, it’s like using an actual pencil. The pressure and sensitivity are incredible. If you take off the nib, the tip is actually made of gold, surprisingly. I can’t stand that the only way to charge it is to magnetically attach it to the side of the device, HOWEVER, it charges 2% in about 1 minute. ... show more

I got my little sister this iPad, and it’s a really good iPad for a good price. The screen was scratch free and the responsiveness is amazing. Easy to use and it charges fairly good. Only thing is the charger it comes with isn’t good at all so i recommended buying the actual charger it’s supposed to come with. Other than that it’s amazing. I recommend!! ... show more

Hello folks! Bought this for my 13 year old for Christmas as she really wants a tablet that responds to pressure sensitivity (Utilizing the Apple Pencil). I can confirm that that works well and the tablet is light and has excellent reactivity. I purchased this refurbished and have learned in the past that I need to open and charge something (regardless of being refurbished or new) and download the game or app they will be using the most (In this case Procreate) before giving it to anyone to avoid Christmas morning disappointment! So, I opened it and plugged it in with the power connector that came with it. It seemed to be charging but a couple minutes later I looked over and it no longer was. Unplugged it, plugged it back in and the same thing happened, it charged 2% and then stopped (up to 72% fully charged). That time, when I went to plug it in again it would not charge at all. Put it away till the next day. Pulled it out, at 52%. Plugged it in, went back an hour later and was at 54% saying it was no longer charging. That was it for me! Too much money for something that doesn’t properly work out of the box and I’m not setting my daughter up for disappointment. Spent the extra money to get a brand new one ($50 more for a fifth generation but without cellular) from Best Buy. Spent an extra hundred on a 2 year warranty in case this is an apple thing as opposed to an improperly refurbished thing. Amazon does great with returns, UPS picked it up the next day and my confidence is high that my money will be refunded with no problem. Glad I didn’t wait until the last moment before Christmas, and folks always check your devices before giving them to your children! ... show more

I like the way it was well packaged, wrapped in transparent polythene and sealed to a different compartment inside the box with space on all sides such that it would be difficult to have any scratch. We ordered this refurbished iPad as being in excellent condition, and were disappointed to find it had a cosmetic defect. The seller was very quick to respond to our inquiry and very quick to offer additional resolutions to avoid the headache of a return. The iPad aside from the cosmetic spot is in great condition and started right up. It did arrive with only 2% battery left, which isn’t a huge deal, but worth mentioning. I will also note the iPad when entering setup had come up with a message that it was already partially set-up. This required a wipe of the systems memory (which the iPad can do with the touch of a button during setup) to continue with a new setup. After the second boot up we were able to successfully set the iPad up.
