I didn't want a fossil machine,... for my needs it had to at least run an OS equal to OS 13 Ventura or later. Saw this, saw the EXCELLENT price, picked it up. I wasn't disappointed. It came adequately packed, it had no scratches or damages at all. Weird that it came with a an off-brand KB and mouse, but I have an comfortable supply of those things.     • I wanted a Non Apple Silicon iMac to max out the RAM... this system was perfect.
I had a 2017 iMac 27" 5k that overheated non-stop for over a month and needed to replace it. This 2019 iMac is even better than it was on the Product Page... (Kind of). As most of you know Apple made different versions/SKUs with varying combinations of CPU Speed, RAM, Video Card, etc... The Product page tells you this before you order so it shouldn't be a surprise, but they word it in a way to think you 'may' be getting the lower specs available for that option, probably to stop complaints from people who mistakenly think they should get 'the best of the best' for these kind of low prices. Anyway, I got the CPU, RAM, and HDD as expected but the Video Card (I was expecting the low-end one) was the top tier that Apple offered for this model. Side Note: The 2019 does support the new macOS Sequoia but you won't get the new "Apple Intelligence" features and the iPhone Mirroring/Control will not work due to the Security Chip missing from this model (It's on the 2020 Intel iMac though) ... show more

I bought a 2019 iMac with 2TB storage, convinced that I was getting a great deal. Unfortunately, I overlooked several one-star reviews before making my decision. The seller only offers a three-month return policy and warranty, so I strongly advise against purchasing from them to avoid finding yourself in a similar situation. In the past four months, I've had to reset the computer to factory settings four times due to incomplete updates and frequent freezes. Eventually, I took it to a local repair shop, where I learned that the refurbished parts used are of very low quality, and fixing it would cost over $1,000. My recommendation is to steer clear of this seller altogether. Seller response was that it policy has expired so he is ok selling junk computers that won’t last you more than 3 months. Super disappointed ... show more

We purchased this older model iPad for one reason - iTunes. We have hundreds of audiobooks, and our old iMac was dying. Newer iMacs don't support iTunes; they force you to use Apple's Books app, which is absolutely horrible for audiobooks. Fortunately I was able to install iTunes using the Retroactive app (ignore those statements that Retroactive no longer works) and we were back in business like before. Our old iMac lasted over a decade, and this replacement should last us just as long or longer. ... show more

I got what I ordered - a refurbished 27" iMac built in 2019. I ordered the 3.7 GHz version with the 2TB hard drive. I had to sign for the delivery. This machine arrived repackaged with a generic wired keyboard and aftermarket wireless mouse - this is just as well as I don't like Apple's keyboards or magic mice. There was also some cosmetic damage on the back casing in the form of scuffing around the sides but it really doesn't detract. This is, after all, a refurbished computer. All that said it was packaged very well and withstood the ham-handed handling by the shipper. It's working great. This iMac came with Catalina, and transferring all my old files from my ancient MacBook was a long but simple process. Upgrading the memory and upgrading to Monterrey (the latest OS) was easy. Some folks may notice that a small number of older apps no longer work after transferring their data. This is a powerful machine with a pretty screen, and it was precisely what I ordered. I was hesitant buying a refurbished computer of any sort but it is covered by Amazon and in the end it doesn't disappoint. ... show more
