  • No Worries - No Issues - Fabulous Purchase
After reading a lot of reviews, I was 90% sure I wanted this 2-in-1 computer but had some reservations. This computer is great - the screen is perfect and it doesn't skip at all. It is lightweight, the screen is very clear and bright and it is lightning fast. My laptop was 11 years old and still kicking but very, very slow and heavy. The only thoughts I have for future models would be something to protect the keyboard when using it as a tablet and while the battery life is very good - it could last a little longer. Last but least - always research the seller. This company was wonderful and delivered a brand new computer. ... show more

  • Premium Laptop for a decent price
First I must say I speculated on this purchase but I am glad I didn't. I love this ultrabook The build quality is great. No noticeable flex in the screen and the hinges feels sturdy. The aluminum finish is God level. The Yoga logo complements the aluminum body as well. The touchscreen works and it works. The Wacom pen I didn't have to pair it with the device no idea why but it is fully functional on the touchscreen without bluetooth option. Pen was purchased separately. And the screen color reproduction isn't bad the colors look like my Samsung 4k TV. It's comfortable for the human eyes. The keyboard yes the keys feels very comfortable and even though the key travel feels different typing is good enough. Not to mention the backlight settings it looks excellent. The touchpad is very responsive no lag and it is very precise but I am a mouse user. Battery life I can't guess but am always getting over 6 hours while gaming not at 1080p though. Plus the titles aren't current titles so the fan is not audible. But it can be solve with a thunderbolt extension EGPU from sonnet but send the video signal to an external monitor. Great machine Lenovo did it. Also persons who complain about fan noise am guessing where they live the temperatures get over 70 Degrees Celsius. The fans aren't loud. ... show more

  • do your research
I got this from a third party seller in Oct 2019, right when the warranty for this model expired with Lenovo... not that I would want to utilize their support anyways based on the stories. I love Lenovo laptops. I wish I had trusted the reviews better when I went to purchase this bad boy. This was my first large purchase after starting a new job. It can be a nice laptop. The yoga/touchscreen function is hot stuff. It's compact, tight. It offers all the functional benefits of a Lenovo. From my experience, Lenovos seem to score low when it comes to comfort of the laptop (the corners are sharp, edges cut into your skin if it's on your lap). This laptop was a downgrade from my last Lenovo in terms of audio/speaker quality; much quieter. The ports required that I get a port adapter that will definitely serve me in the long run but I recommend that you know what you're getting into. The biggest problem: the display. I'm sure you've read about it, at least in the reviews, or I hope you have. From my research, the issue seems to be a design flaw. Disappointing and frustrating if you don't prepare yourself and accept it from the get-go. The display cord is tightly situated by the fan, to the point that there's no slack in the cord--thus affecting the display connection. The cord still works, it's just so jammed tight! I'm working on getting the materials I need so I can remove the back panel and put in some electrical tape/etc to keep the cord from being smushed. I will update accordingly. I'm glad it's not a bigger problem, but I hope you know what you're getting into. ... show more

  • Nice 2 and 1, but the screen has broken 2x in a year
I really like this laptop. If you buy the Lenovo pen to go along with the system it's great for taking notes. The computer is super light. The screen is a bit small, but still decent quality. -Wifi drivers are not great. Maybe it's just my system, but I can't stay on the internet for very long with an error. Don't try and move while using the internet because it will disconnect almost immediately. -The speakers are not that great. If you don't mind having an external sound system or always wearing headphones then you can manage. -The Warranty is not great either. I sent it in last January due to my touch screen not working and it took them 5 weeks to get the system back to me. They didn't charge me, but it was frustrating nonetheless. -Speaking of the cracked screen, my screen has broken 2x now in the past year. The first time was my fault, the second time the crack appeared in the same place as the first one (after it was repaired), but there was no incident to cause this crack. Without the touch screen it isn't worth the money, and there are better 2 and 1s in this price range. If you have the money just invest in a Mac. ... show more

  • Sudden death after two hours only
I have received the laptop today, unpacked it, plugged the AC and turned it on, it was working well, the screen is crispy and lovely, after it got fully charged, I have unplugged it from AC, and tried the tent mode and tablet mode they worked well without any issue, touch screen also worked perfectly; however, after testing it for two hours, I have pressed shut down from windows and left the house for few hours to get back to work on it to find it dead, no response at all, tried to plug AC once again but even the charging light is not working, tried the hard reset button but in vain, tried to turn it on with tent mode as well, but unfortunately with no luck. I have requested a replacement and hopefully I will get a working product. I will update this comment once I receive the new item. Update: I have received the replacement and luckily it was working fine, modified it to 4 stars instead of 1 star, as the replacement arrived quickly ... show more

  • Very good, much better than I expected - fast
Very good, much better than I expected - fast, silent, battery lasting a lot; this also 'cause it took place of Vaio I used before. Portability counts. If only I had 1 inch of screen more.
