I installed these at my son's house, as he had dark areas in his drive way. These are great because they don't need an electric line run to them - they get their electricity from the sun from the built-in solar panels. On at dusk, off at dawn. Only problem I foresee is on the days that we get no sun for a few days straight - then we might not have any light at night. Well built, I believe these will last for many years. Easy to install on a flat wall or on a pole. We installed on poles, so wwe can put them anywhere we needed them. Very good product which will pay for itself in energy savings. ... show more

    • The heart of darkness is no more.

We refer to the area to the west of our house as the jungle. No one goes there, there is no beautiful landscaping, it is an overgrown mess. And there is no light at night. I mounted these two on that side of the house (easy to do) and set them on the dusk to dawn setting. And it worked beautifully. I have always been a bit uneasy about that side of the house, having these lights ease my mind.
