My hot water heater went out & I can’t afford to fix it yet so I bought this to avoid cold showers & it’s AMAZING!!!! It sure beats heating up water on the stovetop. It heats up a 5 gallon bucket in about 15 minutes so much I have to add cold water to cool it down. It goes camping with me & works great for our outdoor shower set up.

I use this to heat my bath water and it works great! Instead of not having enough hot water for a nice long bath I let this heat it up !

I use this water bucket warmer daily for my job and I love it. Working in construction of new homes, there is a lot to be cleaned after contractors do their thing. Most times there is no water yet but I can fill a bucket and heat it to clean cabinets, windows, and floors. It takes only a few minutes to get to boiling point. In the winter I am most grateful for this invention!

This heater is very efficient at heating water. I use a 12/3 25 foot heavy duty extension cord to reach my hot tub. After about two weeks, when I immersed and plugged in the heater it stopped working. I tested the heater on a different circuit and it worked fine. I tested the extension cord and there was no current. It seems that the outlet I was using has a GFCI circuit breaker. It looks to me that the heater started to take on water which caused a short circuit. The heater still works on a non-protected circuit. The question is how dangerous is this and other similar heaters ?
