Bought this 2 years ago…. It worked for 2 summers…. I was very careful with it…. It is not working at all this spring. I feel like this is a bad heater…. Very frustrating to set the temperature and not that great at maintaining a stable temp…. Even with good sunny conditions. I would recommend any other pool heater. This one is a little better than nothing…. But only lasts for about two seasons. Hopefully this helps you out.

Finally broke down and got this pool heater. It took several days to go from 61 to 88. But we did not run it constantly. We got a solar blanket to put on the pool at night and during the day when it is not in use. Our pool is constantly in the 82 to 85 range and once we goth the solar blanket we did not need to run it over night. It will warm slowly but that is intentional. Don’t want to burn out the mother or burn people with hot water. It will give an error code if your filter is not keeping the water at a good pressure. Just make sure the filter pump is working right and it will clear the error. I love that it will turn on and off as needed to maintain the temp you set it to. I hope it lasts for years to come. First time I was willing to get in with the kids. We will see how long it works. I wanted to upgrade our pump next, unfortunately I did not realize that the max flow is 2000gph. And most pumps that are for a pool our size are 2500gph. This is something I learned about after the purchase. It is not the products fault, just wish I could upgrade.

We’ve had this for a few months now and it’s really nice. It definitely helped the pool warm faster and once the weather started warming up, it’s gotten really warm which I enjoy.
