The stand seems heavy duty, haven't had a chance to try it out. I recieved it with the box beat up and missing some of the hardware for putting it together. All the bolts were all through the box, not in a bag or anything. Not bad for the price

I don't even know where to start. This was a complete waste of time and money. This engine stand showed up in a box not intended for transcontinental shipment. There was no padding (or instructions) found inside. Because all of the components were shifting and jarred around, they promptly tore gaping holes in the cardboard box. The highest quality Chinese ziplok bag containing all of the individual hardware got beat to a pulp and puked nuts, bolts, and washers everywhere. I can only assume most of them are still gracing the floor of a couple UPS hubs and tractor trailers. Anyway, I ended up with significantly fewer parts than would have been required for assembly... but who really knows.... there were no instructions included anyway. But the lack of instructions or missing hardware was moot because a cursory visual inspection found it to be so far below minimum expectations that it didn't even matter. There is NO WAY this engine stand would support anywhere near 2,000 pounds. I attempted to return it and get my money back but the vendor insisted that I foot the cost of return shipping... ...which would likely cost about as much as the original cost for the stand. I should have paid them $175 to just punch me in the balls. It would have been a more effective use of my time and money. ... show more

This is supposed to be a 2000 lb engine stand, no directions, and missing hardware. I attempted to put a 7.3 powerstroke Diesel engine on this stand, the backplate and arms attached to the engine bent and collapsed when I lowered the engine onto this stand from my engine hoist, I didn’t even have the full weight of the engine on the stand before it failed. ... show more

When this arrived, the box was busted open and lots of the bolts were missing. It's a good thing I'm a mechanic. I was able to put some new bolts in it. It seems pretty cheaply built. But I need something now.
