I don't usually write reviews, but this panel is great! The panel array itself seems to be very high quality, the cables and connectors are nice and seem sturdy, The main cable even comes with a velcro cable wrap. The real cherry on top is the bag. The panel fits perfectly inside the bag, the materials feel high quality and the stitching is sturdy. The pocket on the front is the perfect size for easily storing the cables. I didn't expect this level of attention to detail at this price point, but I'm thoroughly impressed. In direct but not perpendicular sun I can expect to see around 80W, and 100 if it is aligned perfectly. Perfect for my camping setup! ... show more

I'm on the fence between 3 and 4 star. Arguments for 3 star: - The background / main material of this panel is very thin, arguably flimsy. It's almost like it's plastic-ized cardboard. It's stiff. I worry how it will hold up over time when being exposed to UV, etc. (UV + Plastic dont get along..). - The 3 Legs are 'awkward' and their retraction force is strong and you end up having to extend the legs, adjust the panel, which forces you to (again) adjust the legs, which pulls the panel out of alignment. Repeat a few times until everything is right. - The included cables are alright, but flimsy and prone to breaks. My XTG-end connector failed out of the box; but lucky for me I had replacements on hand. The main wire to the solar connectors seem OK tho. Argument for 4 Star: - Power. This produces well. Even in lower light situation you'll get more power than you expect; -- assuming your battery can take it. My generator's input is max about 110W. This panel seems almost always north of 100W assuming 'any' amount of sun. - Lower Voltage Output. Some of the 200+W panels achieve their output by having relatively high (30-40V) output voltages that are not actually supported by many portable battery generators. This doesnt. It'll work with pretty much everything. - High value given the asking price and performance. (Durability / long term life is TBD Tho). - Included bag is high quality. In fact, the bag is arguably *TOO GOOD* quality -- would rather those few $$ be applied towards a better / more durable plastic substrate. - Portability is great (considering the 200W size). I purchased these to add to my Anker power bank for power outages. However, this past summer I put to the test at a job site where I needed power. I used these solar panels to maintain a charge for my Anker Power Bank while I used my miter saw. Used this set up for several days. One day I used with out the solar. The next day My bank started the day at 85% power. So I connected the solar panels and at the end of my day before packing my tools and power source I read the meter. The power bank was at 100% even while using my saw. The pack of folding panels seem to be well made and really have a nice appearance. I’m hoping that the flexibility will be long lasting as the unit seems to be well made. Installation was just a plug and play type of connection. ... show more

It gives the stated power when it's room temp and you plug it in. As it warms up it's output drops to about 100 watts. These results were in the central coast of California. It's great for power banks that take in 100 watts.

Decent panel, nice handles, good magnets, the textured surface is beautiful (but collects dust and dirt that can be difficult to clean off). Slightly larger than I expected, be sure you measure before buying. The stand could use some work, it's kinda flimsy and after a while it became impossible to use the snaps to secure it during storage. The included cable and adapters work great! It has connections for pretty much every major controller and power station. I wish the XT60 had some sort of locking mechanism. The output was excellent at first, got about 90-100W, however after falling over during some very mild winds it's dropped down to about 30-40W peak over the course of about six months. I wish it was within the return window, I didn't expect it to be so fragile. All in, still probably a good value, it was the cheapest per watt when I bought it on sale, and it included a cable with the adapter I needed so I didn't have to buy another. Next time I'll probably buy something rigid like a suitcase-style or a big flexible panel that won't break as easily. ... show more

I’ve been really impressed with this SOKIOVOLA N-Type 200W solar panel. It feels well made, opens easily, and folds back up without any hassle. The weight is very manageable considering how flexible the panel is. My favorite part has been the performance. On a sunny day here in Southern California, I’ve seen it reach up to 177 watts of input, which is about 88 to 89 percent efficiency from a 200W panel. That’s excellent real-world output for a portable setup. The carrying bag is also a nice touch. It keeps everything clean and easy to store or move around, and the zipper pouch is surprisingly roomy for cables and accessories. The included cable is good quality and comes with multiple connector options. I mainly use the XT60 plug, but it’s great that they support other power stations as well. Overall, I highly recommend this panel. I picked it up during a Black Friday sale, but even at full price I think the quality, efficiency, and usability make it a solid buy. ... show more

Amazing! Works great with my Schumacher 371 charger and 100ah battery. I’m not exactly sure why but it provides 3x the current that my 150w rooftop panel provides. That one is a Lumera 140w bifacial that cost about the same as this one. One note 1 the cable has 5 plugs on it, not 6. I think the idea is that the DC5525 barrel connector can also accept a DC5521 pin, but I haven’t tested it. Also, don’t discount the weight - it’s a lot heavier than I expected and taking it in and out of my rooftop box is harder than I’d like - I’m keeping it behind the drivers seat now and it fits nicely. ... show more
