I’ve been really impressed with this SOKIOVOLA N-Type 200W solar panel. It feels well made, opens easily, and folds back up without any hassle. The weight is very manageable considering how flexible the panel is. My favorite part has been the performance. On a sunny day here in Southern California, I’ve seen it reach up to 177 watts of input, which is about 88 to 89 percent efficiency from a 200W panel. That’s excellent real-world output for a portable setup. The carrying bag is also a nice touch. It keeps everything clean and easy to store or move around, and the zipper pouch is surprisingly roomy for cables and accessories. The included cable is good quality and comes with multiple connector options. I mainly use the XT60 plug, but it’s great that they support other power stations as well. Overall, I highly recommend this panel. I picked it up during a Black Friday sale, but even at full price I think the quality, efficiency, and usability make it a solid buy.

This is my first time using a portable solar panel. I wasn’t even sure how these things work, but it’s as simple as plugging it into your power bank, making sure the red/black cords are connected, and that’s it. There are even usb ports on the transfer or black box thingy on the solar panel so you can plug a phone charger right in. It’s winter so the sun isn’t at its strongest but I was able to pull 80 watts with minimal adjusting. I might’ve got more if I kept playing with it but I was satisfied with 80. For reference, I have a Bluetti Eb3a. The included cord with this panel fits it. I charged from 69% to 100% in about 40 minutes. I also had my phone plugged into the solar panel itself. So cool though just out here capturing energy from the sky. This is a game changer for me as I love camping out on public lands. Now I can work anywhere and basically have unlimited power as long as the suns out. It stores well on my passenger seat in my car; I have a sedan. It is big for the size of my car but I can have it in there just fine with all my other camping gear. It feels reasonably durable, strong magnetic closure. Not too heavy. The cable is a decent length too, I’m sure I’d be able to keep the power station in the car if I wanted/needed to and still have it plugged in. In winter though, the shade the solar panel gives is good enough to keep the station cool. For the price, you can’t go wrong.

I'm on the fence between 3 and 4 star. Arguments for 3 star: - The background / main material of this panel is very thin, arguably flimsy. It's almost like it's plastic-ized cardboard. It's stiff. I worry how it will hold up over time when being exposed to UV, etc. (UV + Plastic dont get along..). - The 3 Legs are 'awkward' and their retraction force is strong and you end up having to extend the legs, adjust the panel, which forces you to (again) adjust the legs, which pulls the panel out of alignment. Repeat a few times until everything is right. - The included cables are alright, but flimsy and prone to breaks. My XTG-end connector failed out of the box; but lucky for me I had replacements on hand. The main wire to the solar connectors seem OK tho. Argument for 4 Star: - Power. This produces well. Even in lower light situation you'll get more power than you expect; -- assuming your battery can take it. My generator's input is max about 110W. This panel seems almost always north of 100W assuming 'any' amount of sun. - Lower Voltage Output. Some of the 200+W panels achieve their output by having relatively high (30-40V) output voltages that are not actually supported by many portable battery generators. This doesnt. It'll work with pretty much everything. - High value given the asking price and performance. (Durability / long term life is TBD Tho). - Included bag is high quality. In fact, the bag is arguably *TOO GOOD* quality -- would rather those few $$ be applied towards a better / more durable plastic substrate. - Portability is great (considering the 200W size). Weight is good.

Used this side by side with a Jackery 200 watt panel and they both pulled basically the same wattage. The Jackery pulled a little more when it was overcast but nearly the same. The construction of this panel is impressively sturdy. The cable is a little short but not CRAZY short. I bought extensions anyway. Also, this plugged right up into my Jackery 1000 V2. Overall, very pleased!

I've purchased several portable solar panels in recent weeks and this one seems to be the best design. Four section solar panels are notoriously difficult to set up because they are floppy and awkward to handle especially compared to two section panels. Set up and positioning is made more difficult when the tilt back legs have velcro closures as they keep re-sticking while you are setting up. This panel has snap closures. Some panels have tilt back legs that can only adjust a few degrees, usually from about 30 to 45 degrees from vertical because of the straps attached to the legs. While this one also has straps, they allow much greater range which is important for keeping the panel pointed towards the sun. This panel closes up easily, fits neatly in the included storage bag, has the highest waterproof rating of any panels that I have seen, and while it is not the lightest, the extra weight will help on windy days. As far as output is concerned, all the four section panels I purchased are rated for 200 watts and they all output about the same wattage for given conditions including this one. 130 to 140 watts with high, thin clouds, and 170 to 200 with a clear sky. My only complaint about this panel is that it is rated for 20 volts so it will not charge a 24v battery.
