The heads of the screws are just big enough to work and still be able to tuck firmly and safely into the cushions without being seen. Any areas where the fasteners are visible is minimized due to the clear acrylic heads assuming the color of the fabric they're attached to. I used them to put a new cover on my outdoor day bed. They absolutely worked great for what I was doing. They hold what ever your twisting them in wonderful. My day bed looks great. By the time I was done my fingers were sore from twisting them all in. But I’ve used them before and I know they will hold everything in place until I change it again in a year or so. Very easy to install, and I didn't break one, which surprised me. They don't look as sturdy as they are. The transparent tops are very nice, almost invisible. They are a great quality for the price.
