If you have young kids these would work well. They are very hard to plug into because of the safety feature. I would have chose another outlet because of this problem.

Being a new Grandpa I needed to childproof the electrical in my home. I have 30+ receptacles not counting the ones on the kitchen counters, laundry area and behind the fridge. Those are all 20 amp and not easily reached by toddlers. I had several receptacles that were very worn and no longer able to hold a plug tight. I spent much of one day replacing all the 15 amp receptacles throughout my house. All my receptacles are now working correctly and I have an electrically safe house for kids to visit. ... show more

These feel a little cheap .... but they do have all the features I wanted and they do work. Installing them was a chore but that was more due to my old wiring than the outlets. Best selling points were getting great price for buying in bulk, face plates included, and tamper resistant. I am not sure I will buy this brand again for my next round of remodeling but for the budget price and corresponding quality ... they are a good buy. ... show more
