I don't use the little metal plates they came with for mounting, since I can usually find some sort of metal surface to stick them to. One charge also lasts a LONG time. Nice lights, very bright. The switch is a little awkward, BUT you can select a lot of options. I just have to get used to the switch and be sure to mount all the lights in the same direction. Thinking about several more for storage compartments. They do have a quality feel to them. Can I do 4.5?

These worked out really well for me. I need a lot of light when meal prepping and these did the trick for me. As you approach the area they are in, the light gradually comes on. As long as you are in front of it it stays lit, but it doesn’t stay on for a long period of time after you leave the area which is what I wanted ... show more

So far I am impressed with these light strips. Light is nice, not glaring. I enjoy the fact that it turns itself down when I am not working in that spot. I have the option of full on or off. I am giving myself the bit by of extra time before deciding on getting more packs.
