I was nervous but am very impressed in the end. They took a couple minutes to set up and we will probably get more packs to make it so kiddo can go around the tree AND up. I broke one ratchet being too aggressive, but they are totally strong enough for a 100# kid even. No dmanage evident to tree after a couple months. I love em Build quality: 4/5. Our grandsons all love this! They are 1 to 5 years old & run to our tree to climb up! Lil ones need help & supervision, but it is great exercise, confidence & coordination building & fun! Easy to put on tree, very sturdy straps that stay in place after lots of climbs.

TOPNEW 12 Ninja Tree Climbing Holds for Kids is one of the most ingenious inventions ever made for kids! Now kids can access tree climbing even more safely! I love these things! We got sets for trees at both our older son's house and at our younger son's house for our grandkids to play in their back yards. AND we got a set for our house, too! I love to be able to take the grandkids out to our yard for outdoor play when they come to visit. This is an awesome gift idea for any occasion for any child and I would purchase again in a heart beat! SO EASY to strap onto any tree, these holds are terrific! I highly recommend! (advisable to assist any really small child until they get adept at climbing and returning to the ground safely)

Set up with kids climbing the tree in 15 minutes. It’s still up and not budging 2 months later! 4 stars as there were not removal instructions and I wanted to adjust one. I’ll figure it out but wish that was included.

These are great quality. Some other brands for kids have stars & hearts that have no way to grip it for them to actually be able to enjoy & use it, but these are perfect. I ended up taking them off the tree & making a wooden base for a rock wall & now have the straps available for whatever else I may need it for. 10/10 recommend!

These have worked great for letting our kids climb into their tree house. I thought the straps may have too much room for movement to give the kids secure footing but they have had no problem using them on a tree that is approximately eight feet in circumference. Even my six year old does well with them. The straps are in good condition despite having faced a winter and two rainy springs. Remember that the tree keeps growing so you should adjust the straps annually or the tree may start to grow around the straps.

The media could not be loaded. These need to be designed without a hollow backside so spiders or other bugs can’t live inside. Since they take some time to set up and take down, it is not really realistic to take them down when not in use like a slack line. When my son wanted to climb I would have to get rid of all the spider webs first. After taking it down I realized that inside each hand hold lives a big fat spider or a nest of pincher bugs which to me is a safety issue. Beside the bugs, these were sturdy, fun and high quality. If you buy these I highly recommend you plan on setting up and taking down each time (I think you could get this down to a 15 minute setup/10 minute takedown with practice) I will be donating them because that is not realistic to me for 5 minutes of tree climbing.
