  • Great little dinner bell. Very lightweight.
Size: 2 PCS Color: Red new
The media could not be loaded. Great dinner bell. I don't like keeping her wet food out long so she lets me know when she’s hungry for it. Nice and loud bell… easy for her to push, she learned in 30 seconds. Came with a sparkly dog tag and a hanging bell set which sound like Christmas time. 10/10 recommend ... show more

  • good training tools
Size: 2 PCS Color: White new
both of these items work well, super easy to use, the bells are the right noise level- not too loud or soft. Now I just wish the dog would figure out how to use them more consistently

  • A fun training device so your dog can cue you when s/he needs to go out to potty
Size: 2 PCS Color: Pink new
This is a nice, practical training device so that your dog can learn to cue you when s/he needs to go outside to do potty. It's well-made and the strap is length-adjustable. However, and this is important: Just be mindful of your dog's behavior - for instance, if your dog is a teething puppy and/or is a lifelong chewer by nature, would your dog rather chew on the nylon strap rather than ring the bells? And if left unsupervised, would your dog want to play tug-o-war with the strap? With this in mind, perhaps this device is best for laidback, easier-to-train dog personalities, but not for overly high-energy (aka "crazy") dogs. The idea of this device is that you hang the strap with the bells on the doorknob or door handle, and teach the dog to use her paws to ring the bells, to alert you that it's time for a walk. Like any training device for any behavior, you have to be serious and consistent in the training, do lots of reps, in order for the dog to learn the behavior and retain it. This product comes as a set, giving you the option to teach the dog to press a button instead of using the bells. I don't think the button is practical in the real world. You'd have to place the device on the floor in such a way that it won't slide around when or if the dog paws at it. (I took off one star for the button's impracticality; the mfg needs to pair the button device with some sort of non-slip mat or platform.) The last time I used a doorbell hanger similar to this one, with a former dog of mine, he used to ring the bells all the time just because he loved to go out for walks! He kept giving me false alarms, drove me nuts. So I had to remove the bells from that dog from my past. He was a joker:) This time, with my current dog, I'm trying a different strategy with limited use of the bells: I will only hang the bells after dinnertime, so that my current dog can learn to alert me when it's time for her to go out for her last walk of the evening. I will not leave the bells up 24/7, only in the evenings some time after she's had her dinner. (She eats twice a day.) Of course, there are other ways to know when it's time to take your dog out for a walk (or let her out to your fenced yard, if you have one): One strategy is for you, as the conscientious owner, to be more attuned to your dog's body language, be more alert and responsive to the cues that your dog is already giving you. My dog, when she needs to be taken out for walks, will sort of pester me. She'll follow me around like a shadow, even get almost under my feet, and she'll keep looking up at me expectantly. The other strategy is to have a predictable outside-potty routine, if possible. If your lifestyle permits you to feed your dog dinner at approximately the same time every evening, then give her an approximate set time for her to digest and "brew a log," then take her out at approximately the same time very night. How long does it typically take for your dog to digest his or her dinner and be ready to go potty? That's a question for your veterinarian. It would depend on a whole bunch of variable factors well beyond the scope of this review, so, definitely talk to your vet on that one. In the meantime, this doorknob bell hanger can be a fun training method. If your dog enjoys using the bells and if s/he truly understands that they're for potty time, not playtime, then go for it! ... show more

  • Worth a shot
Size: 2 PCS Color: Pink new
Working on teaching my pup to go out. So far it’s not working out with the bells. The bells are very large, loud, with that said they are made well and seem to be attached safely

  • Ok product
Size: 2 PCS Color: Black new
This was a great bargain, but my pup only finds this as a great new chew toy instead of hitting the bell with his paw when he has to go potty he also likes to just makes noise with the hanging bell which he totally destroyed lol.

  • Great potty training bells
Size: 2 PCS Color: Black new
Great tool for potty training! I bought this dog bell to help with potty training my puppy, and it has worked wonderfully. My 10 week old puppy has picked up on it surprisingly quickly. Within just a few days, he was ringing the bell when he needed or just wanted to go outside. It’s sturdy, the bells are loud enough to hear from another room but not obnoxious. It’s such a simple idea but has made communication with my dog so much easier. Highly recommend for anyone potty training a puppy! ... show more
