    • Great lights but anchors away

The plastic anchors will work okay with 1/2" wallboard which is standard width for walls. The creators of this product have not realized that ceiling wallboard is (generally) 5/8" and the anchors are not best suited for ceiling applications. I suggest doing away with the plastic anchors that come with the product if mounting on the ceiling and getting better ones from your local hardware store. Unless, of course, you are mounting directly into a wall stud or ceiling joist. In that case, you won't need a cheap plastic anchor. The lights themselves are bright and wonderful and really I'd give this product a 4.5 if I could. ... show more

These lights are wonderful! We use them for our closets. I really enjoy seeing my clothes! 😆 and I found a pair of shoes that I thought were missing! I like that it shuts off by itself. It does stay on while you're moving and will continue to stay on for a minute -, then shuts off.

When I first installed the light to the ceiling of my coat closet, this thing would NOT work at all. I waved by hands around, I closed the door and reopened it a million times, I’ve reset it and taken the batteries out, but the motion sensor would not work. It would only work if I turned it to “ON”. Which defeated the purpose of why I bought it. I was so annoyed, that I left it on the closet ceiling and forgot about it for a couple days. Then like magic. It worked. No joke. I don’t know if it needed to be in pitch blackness for a while, but since then the motion sensor works everytime I open the closet door! Also YES as with many other reviewers, the motion detector feature only works in pitch blackness. It does not work if the room it is in has partial lighting. That worked fine for me since the float closet is pitch black when the door is closed. Would definitely purchase again, but would be very specific as to where I would place it ... show more
