These rechargeable lights were perfect for what I needed. I was looking to add some light and warmth in the staircase where there was no electrical outlet. When I first purchased them, these lights had no ratings, which I usually do not purchase without reviews. But in this case, I am glad I did, because the two negative reviews might have discouraged me. Let me address the negative reviews: “the puck looks strange in lamp” …..duh place it lower in lamp. “Not bright at all” …..hmmm, read the description, it clearly states not as bright as a wired light. Besides being exactly what I needed, I like all the hanging options it comes with. And that it comes with two charging cables and two remotes with batteries included. So far, I am very pleased with the charge life. I have run them for 3 nights for 6 hours each night on ½ power and still are charged. I was skeptical of the description of 100 hours at ½ power, but they seem to be accurate compared to the previous similar one I purchased literately had no battery life. ... show more

These were exactly what I needed for wall scones next to a guest bed. They're not bright enough to be the main lighting in a room, but a perfect accent/reading light. Excellent option to allow you to put lights up without needing to hard wire them or hire an electrician.

These are rechargeable and are convenient and lovely compared to the other alternative-hot gluing puck lights into light features, then having to reglue them every time the batteries need replacing. Once you screw in the base, the light feature is attached by a magnet to the base. You can easily pull the puck(s) down to recharge as needed, then pop them back into place with ease. You can adjust the color and brightness per your preference and really put them anywhere. They're also bright compared to the regular puck lights we previously bought on Amazon. The only con thus far is that when we use our t.v. remote (apple t.v.), the lights come on, but other than that, we really enjoy these lights. ... show more

This puck definitely puts the light out in a very straight line when used in a lamp and it looks super odd. Not what I was hoping for at all. I had seen someone online use one of these types of lights for a lamp that isn't near an outlet and it looked great. This was not it. The 1 Pack Battery Operated Light is actual powered by usb charging. It comes with a usb cord and remote. Also comes with a plate to screw into a light fixture which is great. Its on the small side and its not that bright. It does have several brightening options but the highest is not really bright due to the size. Im still able to use it but not where I needed it. I have two wall sconces I ordered for my early elementary classroom, I know I am that teacher. My objective being to make our space feel more like home and the lights worked well, however the lights I ordered came with battery operated lights, which I hate. I much prefer using lights such as this, I can plug in overnight in my classroom, and use all day for school the next day. These lights are perfect for my use, I intend on ordering another few for other sconces I will not hardwire at home. I plug the light in overnight every night, and they last for the eight hours I have them illuminated for. They do dim at about hour six, but they work for my purpose none the less. I do like that if you want to use batteries, you can. I have not used the remote so I am unable to speak to its function. Overall, I highly recommend these lights, they are amazing, and more environmentally friendly than battery operated lights. ... show more

So this already came charged and comes with remote as well as usb-c cord. I love that you can charge it or have option to screw into wall lamps, lamps, lanterns that are plugged into wall to utilize that way. The light of course is brighter than it standing alone because it’s getting electric power from the outlet source. It has timer on the remote and off/on or you can choose brightness. So many options and you can push the disk to control light and the on/off button is on the side as you slide. The puck feels really cheap but it does work perfectly fine and is what it’s intended for. I actually like it and tend to only use when we have power outages vs candles. I do recommend ... show more
