I bought 2 sets a couple years ago and decided to order a 3rd one recently. This last one had different settings/remote control and I couldn't get them all to turn on in the same color/tone. I contacted the seller and within 2 days I received 2 SETS, NOT ONE, BUT 2 and didn't have to return that 3rd set. Now, problem solved. I will continue to buy from this seller forever. Also, I have to mention, I didn't remove the lights during last hurricane and the lights survived, even though my fence fell down and have never need to use the replacement lights.

I wanted a string of lights to go around my pool fence. I expected to keep these because I liked the 3 color option and the fact it came with a dimmer. I didn't like 2 of the 3 colors and would never use them (white and bright white). The 3rd, a more yellow color wasn't soft enough. They also didn't dim enough. Another thing I didn't like was the cord. Very heavy duty, like what you would have on a PC power cord. Normally that would be a plus but that was too much cord to attempt to tie along the top of my fence, I would have had to use a lot more zip ties. These lights are 5 watt lights so I decided to go with the 1 watt ones. I had to buy a dimmer for the 1 watt lights but the win for that was it came with a dusk-to-dawn sensor. The cords on the 1 watt were not so heavy duty which was perfect for my application. They have been up for a week now and look great. The dimmer remembers the dimness level so when they come on at night the brightness is set where I left it. If you want to leave your lights up all winter, or want to string them up criss-cross across a patio, then I think these lights would be good for that. They were just too heavy and bright for my application. Even though my dimmer didn't come with a remote, the dusk to dawn sensor is well worth it. I changed the brightness when the party ended and we cleaned up a little, then I reduced them back to minimum and haven't touched them since so I think I would rather have the manual adjustment with the dusk to dawn sensor rather than the remote. Just my preference. Very happy with this set, remote works through patio door. I like the different modes and these lights don’t automatically turn on by themselves after a power outage. I had to return a different light set for this reason.

The seller advertised these as weather/water proof. They used these words multiple times in the description of these lights. The set i bought worked well, even worked after a few light rainfall. Unfortunately the first heavy rain the plug end with the white button got water logged. I have not been able to get the lights to work and im unable to find a replacement part. I hope the seller will respond with an answer as to where I can purchase a new plug and sensor. Update: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars because I reached out to the company and they were extremely responsive and replaced the set free of charge. Im only giving 4 stars because of the 1 month of not being able to use the lights. They look amazing though so I would recommend these highly but do yourself a big favor and buy an outdoor power supply protector that is waterproof for the plug end.

I purchased this exact set of lights for my patio 2 years ago. And they just stopped working. On one hand, they held up pretty well I think considering they were on every night so I'm ordering the exact same set except this time I'm including a few extra dollars for a warranty that will ensure them for 4 years.

I ordered the 2-pack and 1/2 of one string stopped working. It makes no sense, but 1/2 the lights are out and I tested the bulbs in the string that is fully working to be sure it wasn’t the bulbs. I’ve only turned then on a about 10 times. Very disappointed. They responded very quickly to my email and photos. They immediately said they would send me a replacement strand that should arrive in about a week. I will update again, after I see how long they last. Sent replacement string, actually 2, right away and much sooner than expected. Happy with customer service, excellent communication. Will update if same problem occurs with replacement strings. Just FYI, in order for the remote to work, I had to put up both strings from the new box. You cannot mix and match the strings and have the remote work. I live on WA State, so we shall see if they are weather proof.
