This top works really well. I have had other microwave cover, but most of them are this cheap plastic that looks like it will cause more health harm than good. This one seems to be this hardened material. it is still plasticky, but then one that are int he heavy duty containers. It does a good job of covering the food. It has a pocket for water. Water concentrate in it on its own if you close up the top cover. It keeps your food steamed and warm until you get to it. I tend to forget my food in the microwave often for sometimes hours. This really help keep the food warm longer. It is perfect for vegetables. The handle was hard to install when it came, especially in one of them. It is super expensive, but I think worth it. I use it in the microwave and to cover my food outside too if I have leftover, but do not want to put the food back in the fridge. All in all, I really like it and I recommend it. I got a Microwave Splatter Cover with the hopes of not having to clean my microwave every day, and it's been working! I had a cover ready, but it always dried out my food. This comes with two, so I'll put the other away for later. I washed mine, and after drying, I put water in the groove it has made for it to steam, and it has worked great! Clean microwave and no more dried-out food. It was kind of a pain putting it together, but that was probably just me. In the picture, it shows it sitting on the outside of your plates. My plates must be big because it doesn't fit on the outside, so I just put it on the edge of them, and it works fine like that. I like the look of it. It's got a nice green color and a clear cover. It's gotten dirty, so I took it apart to clean it, and it was so easy to take it apart. So far, it seems like this will last a long time.
