This is partially my mistake, but these trash cans are quite tiny. They would be wonderful for small crafting trash or maybe desk trash where all you needed to throw away was post it's. The sensor is rather sensitive as well.

I've had 4 of these, Smart Trash Cans for over a year now. My experience with using these has been excellent. I say this because there has never been a time where they have completely stopped working. And to my suprise, I'm STILL using the original batteries I installed in them, back in February of 2024. I was very surprised about that, because I assumed they would need to be replaced at least once. These trash cans are very efficient on battery life. And all 4 of them are used on a daily basis. The ONLY brief issue I had was when one of the lids would not open. I thought it was just time to replace the batteries. So I did just that, However, the lid would only open some of the time, as if maybe the motor for the lid was going out. I was going to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. However, instead, I just swapped out that trash can for one of the others, that were in another room. In about a week, that trash can I was having a problem with, started working flawlessly again. I'm assuming that since were it was located at, in a main bathroom, that maybe the humidity got to the motor, and it just needed time to dry out. Because it has been working perfectly ever since. I STRONGLY recommend getting these. You won't regret it.

I give these smart trash can 5 stars because they are perfect size for my bathrooms and office. I have had them for a year now and they are working great still. Love that I just wave my hand over the senor and they open to put the trash in and then close on there own.
