Easy to install but the four screws that mount the light fixture need to be larger I'll look again to see if I did it wrong but it seems pretty basic so I don't think I did...UPDATE...I bought several of these. So after I installed the first one I seen another that had different screws for the brace to fixture this one didn't have or I'd give it the 5 stars...I really like them it adds great light to the basement ... show more

The lamps look nice, and are a very nice size for a hallway or smaller room. They do cast some shadows, but it's not too bad. I like the look overall. The installing of these lamps is a little more tricky than others. I live in an older home and the brackets did not fit the junction boxes installed in my ceiling. I had to go get an adapter plate to install these. It wasn't terrible, but it was a little more work to get these installed. I also didn't trust the terminal block and opted for a different electrical connection. They look nice and I'm happy with them, but I probably wouldn't choose a lamp with this style mounting hardware again. ... show more
