This is an edited review of this product. The initial, two star review started like this: "How can there be so many favorable reviews and yet the one I received could not be assembled?" It described how there was a missing piece to the lamp shade structure. However, after writing that review, I found the missing piece which had fallen behind a cardboard flap, and easily completed the assembly. It's pretty easy - everything snaps together, like a tent pole with the elastic cords. Since I saw no way to ask Seller about a missing item, starting a refund seemed the only way forward, but when I found the item the very next day I cancelled that process. A few days later I see that the Seller (Karjoefar) actually exists and communicates (after seeing the review?), having sent me not one, but two messages on two separate days, apologizing and offering me a choice of full refund or replacement (and no need to return first item). I think that is very good customer service and that, plus the obviously good value of this price point, raises my review to five stars. The lamp itself is very nice, elegant looking and functionally well designed. It will fit with most decors. It is not truly excellent, like a $200 lamp might be, mainly because the shade does have some limitations (has to be rolled up to ship in the small, tightly packed box). It is okay, but I will probably replace it with a nicer looking one. However, at $50-60, and with good customer support, this is definitely a nice-looking five star floor lamp that puts out good lighting. ... show more

Very pretty lamp, stable and well balanced, very easy to assemble, maybe 20 minutes. Looks as shown online. The only negative I have is that there was no bulb included as was stated. Not a deal breaker but probably should not be stated as included.

Very nice and modern lamp. It was easy to install and comes with light bulbs so you can use it right away. The base is nice and heavy so it won’t tip over easily. The value for the price is amazing. Directions to put it together was straight forward. Took about 5-10 mins. HOWEVER, after plugging it and and trying the foot button, the light wouldn't come on. I tried different outlets too. I tried the bulbs on another lamp and the bulbs works. There is something wrong with the wiring on the lamp that make it so the lamp wont turn on. Hopefully the seller or amazon will figure out a solution that prevents me from returning it, it looks really nice ): UPDATE: 1 star to a 4 star I took apart the foot button by unscrewing four screws. Turns out whoever put the wiring together did not solder one of the wires to the connection block. All I did was twist the wire around a metal plate thru a hole to complete the electrical path. Works perfectly now! The provided bulb is nice and bright with three colors, lamp doesn't look cheap, and looks great in the living room. One star taken off bc of the faulty connection which was fixed easily. ... show more

My mid-century lamp is sturdy and of beautiful quality. I did find an issue with the lampshade, and I was so loathed to send it back that I got in touch with customer service to ask if there was any way they could send the missing pieces instead, since I really did want to keep the lamp. It was so easy to get in touch with them and they assisted so quickly, I wish I could get this kind of help everywhere!! They were super kind and accommodating to my needs and had my issue immediately fixed and sent an additional complimentary gift for my trouble.
