I found this chair an excellent value for my limited mobility. I can now crawl under my sinks without a lot of pain and commotion getting off the floor. It lifts me up with ease. It's very strong; I weigh 260 pounds. It lowers and lifts me without straining. I just installed a new dishwasher with no mobility problems. The only problems I found were the handles were crowded and uncomfortable to move it from place to place. I, also, found it needs wheels: I had an old suitcase with wheels that I put most of it in and put a strap around it and it rolls around great. The chair is pretty powerful. It could use a little extra padding. But I guess you could put a small pillow on the back and the seat.

This chair has been worth every penny. My mom is 84 and had dementia. She is mobile but often slips off the couch or the edge of the bed. I have a bad back so this chair is a life saver!! It’s easy to use. And stays charged for a long periods. I bought it in October 2025 I think I’ve charged it 3 or 4 times. I’ve had to use it about 5 times since I purchased it. It is a heavy but lighter than having to pick up a person so thats soon. Stores well in the closet. The only improvement I would LOVE is maybe some wheels but only if it would be sturdy of course. ... show more

    • If you can't get off the floor yourself you need one
I didn't want to use it till someone was here to help me get off the floor if it didn't work. Right out of the box it got me off the floor. All I can say is it will lift you up. No assembly required.

Works really well. I wish there were an easier way to transport. It folds in half but is not secured. It tends to open by itself and is clumsy.
